JJ's Bar & Grille in Apollo Beach is a hidden gem with a welcoming atmosphere. The food is mostly traditional, but the meatballs and the Cobb Salad with fresh ingredients like mixed greens, avocado, hard boiled egg, blue cheese crumbles, tomatoes, and grilled grouper sandwich are excellent choices. The bar owners have improved the establishment, and it attracts both regulars and newcomers. The service is always friendly and very polite, with bartenders who are down to earth, funny, and personable. The DJ is such a vibe. The food is really good and decent; the chopped steak with mushrooms and onions, BLT, and tater tots are really good. The late night crowd makes people feel at home.
