Made my friend bring me here several times while visiting her because I liked it so much. Loved the veggie kimbap!

I order from K-bop Box at least once a week. My husband always picks it up for me. They know him by name and give him a warming greeting every time he comes in. Not only is the service great, the food is absolutely amazing. The first time I went there I thought the prices were a little high. But then I ate the food. Now I would probably give her even more money for her food. This restaurant is by far the best restaurant in the area. Even if you are suspicious about eating Asian foods, you should give it a go. I have yet to enjoy food as much as I do from any other restaurant ever.

Really kind staff. You feel like you’re in a close friend’s kitchen. The food is great and priced well. Pork fried rice and the fried chicken wings are my go to order.

I was originally tossed between a 4 and 5 star review due to price. It was the unique Korean offerings and great service that made it a 5 star review. It's a great place to share a meal with family & friends. It was very comforting!

We were greeted immediately by Dilara. She was so friendly and helpful throughout the visit. She even gave me a great suggestion on choice of drinks. The Milkis Banana Soda was the perfect fit for me. The restaurant started to get very busy at lunch time, and none of it phased her. She handled it like a pro.

We started with the Corn Cheese appetizer. I would have never tried it if my friend had not mentioned it the day before. It was such a great shareable dish. It's delivered all bubbly on a hot plate. It looks almost like Mexican street corn, but it has a totally different flavor profile. It was almost sweet enough to be a dessert. I love that sweet cheese topping!

It was a cold day, so we decided to get soup. I went with the Galbitang, and my friend selected the Soft Tofu Stew. It also came out bubbling hot, and served in its own cast iron pot. A very hot pot, so don't touch it. Lol!

The rib meat was plentiful. There was a large rib bone in my soup. The meat was so tender, and fell right off the bone. The broth was meaty and full of flavor. There wasn't a whole lot of glass noodles, so I suggest you add the meat dumplings for an extra $5. Otherwise, just add the rice that comes with it. It was perfect with the rice. The banchan sides were also very tasty. I was surprised that the kimchi wasn't overly spicy. I really loved all the different flavors. What's even better is that they don't rely on salt to make it tasty. All the natural flavors of the rich rib meat shined through in the broth. It was a meal to be savored slowly as the broth started cooling off from the hot temperature. You can actually carry on a conversation while enjoying it, and not worry about your soup getting cold. Again, it was a very comfortable & enjoyable experience!

We wanted to try the Korean Hotteok for dessert. Unfortunately, they didn't have any that day. I definitely want to go back and try that. I'm also very interested in trying their vegetable ramyun & gimbap lunch combo. There was a Bulgogi Wrap special that also looked very reasonable. They have different specials each month.

Everything was great! I could definitely tell that a lot of hard work goes into making each and every dish. This hidden gem deserves multiple return visits. It's very close to the Manatee Viewing Center, so you might as well check it out while you're in the area.

K Bop restored my will to live. This is the best food that the Ruskin/Apollo area has to offer, hands down. The food is SO flavorful, really well prepared, and beautifully packaged. I enjoyed every single bite - I ordered via Uber Eats and selected the Spicy Pork and Short Rib meat entrees, and a dumpling appetizer (yum!!). The kimchi is the best kimchi I’ve had, I love all of the pickled sides.

I would commit Klondike level crimes for K Bop. Thank you for pouring love into the food, it really comes through.

And if you’re just passing by or live in the area and haven’t had K Bop yet, what are you doing??? Get k bop

Have had an eye on this place for awhile now, and finally made it a point to stop in today.

Now I am mad that I didn't come earlier because I've been missing out on the best Korean cuisine around!

Fried meat dumplings are the best ever. Nice and crispy with lots of filling.

Bulgogi and traditional sides will certainly fill you up and leave you smiling.

Other half's chicken fried rice was also perfect.

There are so many items on their menu I want to try now as I am sure they're all amazing.

Excellent service, clean place, and prices fair for the times.

Nice job!

Lunch portion is quite small, maybe 4-5 ounces of bulgolgi which was about average in taste. The rice was average in taste as well and was an ice cream scoop size portion. It came with two average dumplings which were as good and frozen section dumplings from the supermarket. The lunch came with a fountain drink and was $18.99 with tax. Average experience all around really with a high price point.

The food tasted good. We spent $50 for 2 people and left hungry.

There were 3 tables there when we walked in. 2 of the tables already had food. Still, it took over 20 minutes from the time we ordered for our food to come out.

The portions are small, but for the price, they are incredibly small.

The ban chan were totally bland. The daikon wasnt pickled or anything. Idk what was on the broccoli because it was wet, yet it just tasted like raw broccoli.

If you've never tried Korean food and you'd rather spend money than drive across town, I guess it's an option. There is far more reasonably priced Korean food in Tampa.

This was our first time stopping by. It is a nice, quaint place with about nine tables. We ordered Hose Kimbop, Spicy Seafood Stir Fry, and Dumpling Soup. We enjoyed all three with the kim bop being my favorite. They offer weekday lunch specials. Our server was extremely friendly and did a great job.
