Delicious Cuban Comfort Food with Incredible Service

Mi Viejo Latin Cafe’ & Catering blew us away! I’m no expert on authentic Cuban food, but I do know what tastes amazing and everything we had was just that. My wife and I both went to culinary school, so we tend to be selective with our praise but this place absolutely deserves it.

I had the goat stew and chicharron with rice and beans, maduros, and tostones everything was hot, fresh, and bursting with flavor. My 5 yr old loved his fish sandwich, my wife enjoyed a well-made ham & cheese sandwich, and our 8 yr old had the baked chicken with yuca fries and tostones. Each dish was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. We’re not experts in Cuban cuisine specifically, but we know great food when we taste it and this was truly excellent.

The cherry on top? The amazing service. The ladies working there were kind, helpful, and made us feel genuinely welcome. The coffee was smooth and bold just the way it should be.

Mi Viejo Latin Cafe’ isn’t just a restaurant it’s a feel good experience with food that speaks for itself. We will be stopping back to this place before we leave Florida. !Gracias¡

Good food as a takeout

The food is typically great, and the customer service is exceptional. But unfortunately the steak sandwich I had last night made me very sick. I believe the steak was old. Please throw it away so one else gets sick. 🙏🏾

Get there early for Breakfast then for lunch. They close early, so pickup your dinner of dine in only if your early. 😁

The food is always great. And the atmosphere among the patrons is always jovial. Customer service is not bad but some of the girls their need to learn how to smile and at least put a smile on their face and their voices. They're not rude but they're not warm and fuzzy. Not all of them are like that some of them are very warm and loving but some of them look like they're either angry or terrified there's no expression of hospitality in their voice for their faces. Please fix this it makes a difference.

I don’t know why I always feel like I’m bothering them just by the face expression they give. I even said Thank You twice and nothing in return. The food is definitely delicious if not I wouldn’t go back.

A gem! Glad I found this place. I come here once a week and load up on all dishes and eat it throughout the week. You can’t cook it better and cheaper. Delicious
