Everything I tasted was super delicious including the fried okra that was perfectly crisped, sriracha ranch dip with the perfect amount of spice, melt in your mouth brisket that I have never had so tender in my life. Fall off the bone ribs with the perfect bbq sauce. Even the potato salad and Mac and cheese made with real cheese were delicious. We found our new bbq go to spot when traveling down I70 for all of our trips! To top it off, Kelly was super friendly, provided excellent service and even thought to turn down the lights in the dining room for me because I was getting a headache and had to put on my sunglasses at night. Thank you for the great service.

This place is spotless. You could eat off the floor. Everything was organized. The weight staff is exceptional and friendly. The food came out piping hot. I was just amazed the whole time. I was really hungry, but I also think the food was really good. The Brunswick stew was exceptional.

If you like BBQ and are in the area, Slim’s is a must! Great smoked meats. Had the turkey, brisket, and pork. All were spot on delicious. Baked beans and toast were even really good. It’s not somewhere you go for the atmosphere- but the good service and great food are more than enough to compensate for the simple seating/decor.

Convenient location, friendly staff, and delicious barbecue. Passed by a million times and never knew it was there, glad I found it and will be my regular stop passing by. Brisket sandwich was perfect and some of the thickest cut pieces I've had while still being super tender.

Seriously, this place slaps. Probably the best barbecue place I've ever been to. Now, I'm not normally a big barbecue person, but if I had the means for it, I'd become a regular at this place! I got the Caesar salad, jalapeño poppers with Sriracha ranch, and the special beef rib bun with steak fries and mac n cheese, and every single item was cooked to (personal) perfection- the salad was fresh and flavorful, the poppers were hot and SUPER flavorful, the rib special was extremely tender, the steak fries were almost creamy on the inside and nice and crispy on the outside, and the mac n cheese was made with real cheese, you could tell! My only slight complaints are that the fries and macaroni were under-salted (I actually like that, since it lets you make the saltiness to your preference,) and that the jalapeño poppers were so flavorful that the flavor of the Sriracha ranch wasn't very noticeable. Notice how these complaints are actually compliments in disguise? The servers were also really personable and had an attitude which made the environment feel homely, bringing it all together into a really nice and delicious experience. Highly recommend if you've got the money to spare, and even then it's not even that expensive given the quality of the food! (I specifically ordered a lot of food as you can tell, and it only came out to $40 including all other fees!) A perfect treat-yourself restaurant.
