It was very good, felt like it was made by a 5 star chef, the place looked like an 80s dinner with the people being really friendly, I recommend the chicken fried steak.

We visited for the first time over the weekend and I found a piece of my Tennessee home. Small town vibe in the best possible way. Everyone coming in door was greeted by name and a few times heard the server say “your order is in.” It is clear that they are a community family and all look out for each other. It’s a lot like the Annex was in my hometown In Tennessee.
My husband ordered the chicken fried steak with eggs and I had an omelette with cheese and bacon. The food was great and we can’t wait to go back again.

I was looking for a breakfast place to take my mom after an early morning appointment.
I saw other folks commenting consistently about 2 things, the food, and the wait staff.
I suggest we try the spot and we headed over, the signage identifiable easily from the road, welcoming you in. Quickly, finding parking we headed inside and we're greeted by the waitress telling us to sit where we'd like.
The interior is themed around NASCAR and is fun, while being less distracting than places that throw a bunch of random junk on the walls. The tables have advertisments for local business.
The menu was classic diner breakfast choices. There wasn't anything I saw missing or particularly over emphasized, just straight to the point and easy to navigate two sided menus.
We ordered an omelette and some corndbeef hash. Everything was executed perfectly. Grits buttery, sunny side eggs just right, bacon crispy, hash crunchy, and extra crispy home fries.
Get the biscuits, grilled.
