1985 Coffee Shop & Events

First time in this morning. Was greeted with smiles. Didn’t realize how nice this place was going to be. The cashier was very nice and accommodating to my very novice coffee knowledge. I told her I’m a classic coffee guy that does just cream and sugar, and she recommended an awesome “drip coffee”. But the star of the show was the Gluten Free Coffee cinnamon Muffin. Holy cannoli was it good. I work just doors down so I will be back often. Cheaper than Dunkin too. ??

Wonderful place recommended by a friend. I came in for breakfast and a coffee ☕️. I left with that and so much more. Ashtin and AK were wonderful. It had been years since I've been in the area, and they updated me on many of the changes while feeding me an excellent breakfast and serving up two tasty coffees.

A charming neighborhood café with plenty of character! I've visited twice, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. As someone who usually sticks to regular coffee, I decided to step out of my comfort zone on my last visit and tried their coffee with lavender syrup—it was surprisingly delicious! They have a cozy little patio out back that's perfect for catching up with friends in a relaxed setting.

Overall, it's been a great experience every time, and I’m excited to try one of their coffee flights in the future.

Parking: One thing to note: parking can be tricky, as the lot is pretty small. It's best to walk, bike, or even ride a golf cart if you're local. There's a gas station across the street, but don't be tempted to park there—they’ll tow your car!

Super cute home-turned cafe. Has seasonal coffee drinks like pumpkin spice (which I tried with oatmilk and it was delicious) and regular coffee items (drip, Americano, lattes, cappuccino,etc) and food items.

Kid-friendliness: Super kid and family friendly. Pet friendly too!

Fantastic coffee! Love the Americano ( that’s how you know it’s good coffee!), the seasonal lattes & delicious chicken salad. Staff and ambience are both lovely too!

Calm and relaxed ambiance and yummy coffee

Wonderful new addition to the Mayport area! This quiet little coffee shop definitely won't stay quiet for long. The staff was wonderful and thorough with the ordering process for a first timer. Plenty of seating if you've got a larger group or if you want to work alone. I got an iced chai, and it was phenomenal. Great flavor! I will definitely be back. (Fair warning, there isn't a whole lot of parking spots)

I've been twice, once I didn't order but my friend got some kind of iced coffee drink to go which she couldn't even drink and the second time I asked for tea and they looked like they weren't sure they even had tea. They found me a black tea which was tiny in size, cost $4 and was really not good...I've never really experienced bad tea before. No one I was with was impressed with their order either. The place is cute and spacious inside. I usually don't leave reviews like this, hopefully it will improve because it could be a really cool place if they had some really yummy drink options.

Such a nice and quiet little coffee spot in Mayport. Coffee is great and the inside has a nice homey feel. Mayport will greatly benefit from having this shop in business

Decided to give this place a shot, was dissapointed. I requested 2 lattes, they didn't request if we wanted it hot or cold so we didn't think of it, we received two ice lattes. Well, easy mistake, we took the coffee but put in another order for 2 large hot lattes, and to our dissapointment, the Lattes were just barely warm and small and one of the cups had coffee grinds inside of it. Really wanted to enjoy this place, the environment was great, but the coffee was a sheer dissapointment.

Big fan of 1985! So glad to have such a great coffee shop in the area. They always have great customer service and the area is very spacious - perfect for virtual workers. I love the coffee flights, but make sure to reserve them in advance because you cannot get them on a walk-in.

Great Coffee! Egg bites are good.
They did a great job with the look and overall aethstetic.
Only suggestion, please play some music in the building. I waited around 5 min or so and it kinda felt awkward. Maybe add a record player with some records that customers can play or even a curated playlist of your employees favorites? Outside of my little complaint, it's nice to see Mayport getting some quality local biz instead of the alternative.

Just had a ice coffee but was genuinely surprised. Didn't think it was as large as it was when I walked in. Atmosphere is like calm, low key cafe. Staff were nice.
