If I’m in the area - I always stop here! The location while not super fancy is awesome - right on the docks and I. Earshot of the Coast guard annex and Naval base in Mayport. I love the pick 3 and you will not find any fresher seafood than here!
This is still the best and freshest seafood you can find in the Jacksonville area. The restaurant sits on the St. Johns River and has a wonderful view. You can either dine inside or out (I recommend outside). You order your meal from an order from the cashier and choose a variety of fresh seafood items from a menu board. Had a great lunch served by nice folks. Enjoyed the clam chowder the most. Also had a nice rice bowl for the non seafood eater with well seasoned chicken and a ginger sesame dressing. Grilled grouper sandwich also excellent. Got shrimp dip and smoked fish dip to go and both got two thumbs up from the relatives tonite b Has a great old Florida vibe.
