Just stopped by on the way home for the first time and- WOW. I was speechless after I downed a smoked chicken leg meal with my two sides of mac n cheese and collard greens. I couldnāt want until dinner time š. The chicken was so tender and the flavor was mouth watering. You canāt beat the price either. Chef really knows what heās doing! š„š„š„ Gotta check this place out when you have a chance. Great service, clean truck, fresh food, and we didnāt wait for more than 5 minutes. My new favorite!

Ordered a smoked chicken sandwich and got a thigh worth of chicken skin and two chicken bone shards in my sandwich. Thank God I decided to pick it apart with a fork instead of pouring BBQ on it and eating it in the bread.

Soooo good. Every time I enter my community with open windows i smell it and crave it and finally tried it today. No pictures because we couldnāt hold it in and dug right in. Large portion and very filling. Saved half for later because Iām stuffed! Brisket sandwich with coleslaw was bomb and Mac and cheese had a kick to it ššš Great work! God bless you.

I moved to Jacksonville about 10 years ago and have been struggling to find some decent BBQ. We take BBQ very seriously where I come from and Chef Terry does just that. It is by far the best BBQ I have had in Jacksonville. I would highly recommend you swing by his truck and grab a plate if you see it. Catering By Chef has moved!! They are still on Mayport Road, but are in the Cap'n Oldies parking lot. Outstanding food slow cooked in a REAL smoker! This is not the standard grilled and smothered with sauce meal, but slow smoked over real wood - competition quality! Chef Jerry is a delight to talk to - he really knows his craft!

Omg! Iām so thankful I saw someone elseās review. This truck is like 5 mins from my work and the food is worth every Penny! I was too excited to eat to take pics. But I got the rib dinner with two sides. I chose sweet and tangy sauce over Carolina. Iāll have to try that next time. Fresh cut fries with seasoning which I couldnāt stop eating on my drive home and Mac and cheese!The ribs fell off the bone and they were soo good. You get a lot! The fries I canāt say enough. I wish I had more last night. Max and cheese was great too! I actually had a ton of ribs I shared with my niece and her dad.Donāt drive by this truck without stopping!

My husband and I we leaving Mayport Base and got down the road and smelled something amazing that I literally did a U-Turn to find the location. Turns out it was coming from a food truck. Pulled into the parking lot and saw BBQ food truck specifically.We ordered brisket sandwiches that came with fries and a drink and the steak and cheese egg rolls.. everything was delicious. The seasoning on the fries was perfect, not overly salty. The steak and cheese egg rolls with the Carolina sauce was āchefs kissā flavorful. But can we move on to the brisket. Because let me tell you. The brisket is by far the best brisket Iāve ever had. It literally melts in your mouth and his sweet and tangy sauce was so dang good that it was the perfect combination all together. Not overly sweet, not overly tangy. I literally could hug this man.If you find yourself leaving or coming into Mayport, you have got to try it. You wonāt be disappointed. He takes cash and card.
