I was in the area and tried Choi's today on the recommendation of a co-worker - and the fact that their chicken with cashew nuts did NOT list zucchini as an ingredient! I was disappointed to find, however, that there is, in fact, zucchini. So, aside from having to pick it all out, the food is good! I'm just sad that Choi's is so far away from my home on the Northside

I had heard from some locals that despite the run down look of the building, the food was really good. I ordered the shrimp and lobster sauce combo. The fried rice tasted pretty much like white rice. And the shrimp and lobster sauce was meh at best. I did like the egg roll though.

I grew up in Atlantic Beach. I am in my 40s and I used to walk up to Chois when I was in my teens. My family still lives in Atlantic Beach but I live on the other side of the bridge. Whenever it is that I crossover I never miss a chance to stop and get me some of the best Chinese food in my opinion for 30 miles! It's always a treat. The service is always very polite and the food never ever disappoints. Do not let the structure fool you. They always pass the inspection test for Cleanliness when there is bigger restaurant chains at the town center That fail all the time. Please don't judge a book by its cover. Absolutely the best Chinese!

I've been going here since 2002. Their food is awesome! The price is worth every bite. My grandchildren have tried this food and love it. It's great to see they're still in business. Everything on their menu is good. The soup is especially good. All the egg foo youngs, lo mein, all the appetizers, boneless pork spare ribs (my Dad's new favorite), all the chicken dishes, beef broccoli. My Dad stated no one's boneless pork spare ribs are good as theirs. We live about 50 minutes away. Anytime that we one near Chois, we stop by!❤️

Choi's is hands down THE best Chinese food at the beach. I hadn't ordered anything from there for a while, and was pleasantly surprised that they have not changed their eggroll recipe! It is spiced with a delicious combination of both slightly sweet and savory. Also, I highly recommend any meal with shrimp, as they serve quality, large shrimp, and offer a generous portion. If you like krab rangoon, I highly suggest their less expensive seafood roll. It is a cream filling with chunks of shrimp. It's delicious! Be careful though. They are served piping hot, crispy, and sometimes squirt out the filling😆 I only gave the atmosphere a two because there is no atmosphere! It's a drive-through. And yes, it's a tiny, rough looking kitchen, but The food is the bomb so I don't really care.
