This was our first time to The Coop and we loved it! We sat upstairs, outside overlooking all the trees decorated for Christmas. Lexi, our waitress was top notch. We loved her. My mahi was so delish and my husband loved his pork chop! We will be back.
Loved the food and atmosphere. The steak was better than most steakhouses! Will def be going back
The highlights of this restaurant are definitely the ambiance, cocktails, and overall atmosphere. I still enjoy coming here for drinks and maybe some appetizers or brunch, but I'd be cautious about ordering lunch or dinner. Our server was friendly but checked in only a few times. I ordered the catch of the day — the fish itself lacked flavor and even had a large blood vein. My sisters ordered the ahi tuna, which was good but not quite worth the $36–$40 price tag.
Had a great time, me and my girlfriend really enjoyed our night and would go again, it was both of our first time
Absolute best place in the Atlantic Beach / Neptune Beach town center. Excellent for date night dinner downstairs and then cocktails at the lounge upstairs (Living Room). Weekend DJ is very good and exquisite cocktails. Nice to see peeps dressing up too. Jax is getting better all the time. Also very importantly, free dedicated valet :)
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. I had the Pork Chop and my wife had the Hanger Steak. Both were wonderful. The Fried Green Tomatoes were an excellent choice as an app. Highly recommend!
The food is amazing. The menu has items that you wont find at other restaurants. Like the peaches and cream fried green tomato's. And the roasted red potatoes with a red pepper coulis. But the food is definitely overpriced.
GOOD RESTAURANT THEY SAT US IN A QUIET SECTION BOOTH, WOULD HAVE RATHER BEEN WHERE THE ACTION WAS.
Very disappointed at the menu - coming to a chicken restaurant with 1 chicken option on the appetizer menu.
Customer awareness, the service was great and well communication. Very respectful waitress. I loved the team work they had going on.

Coop 303 was a nice evening. My husband and I enjoyed our date night. My husband had the pork chop and said it was amazing in flavor and size. I had the hot honey salmon which was good. We'd definitively return.
Overall a decent experience. Some highs, some lows. They honored our seating special request and came through very nicely on that request. Much appreciated that. That added to ambiance for sure. Valet was friendly and smooth. -Service was just Ok. The server was fairly friendly; but not super attentive throughout the night. Conversational exchanges were quick and felt very transactional. There just didn't seem to be much passion in the work. No conversation, no specials or items on the menu described. Just quick and to the point. Felt like a very take it or leave it approach. Not rude per se. They just didn't seem interested in being there. Visits by the server seemed sparse and wait time for the food and drinks felt a little lengthy. -Ambiance on the rooftop was great. Perfect weather and tables were nice along the railing. -Menu is a mixed bag that represents solid value and some that are poor value. We've been twice so far and not been terribly pleased either time. The Parmesan truffle fries were great though. Actual shaved truffle!! Nicely done on those. Chimichurri shrimp was so-so. For $32 dollars, it not only isn't that good; but the value is really poor relative to the size of the dish. You get maybe a few heaping tablespoons of risotto and maybe 6 shrimp. Berry salad was solid. Cocktails are reasonable for today's standards but nothing that really jumps out at you. Feel like they could be a dollar or two cheaper. Overall food is Ok; but mostly fair value to poor for some dishes. -Overall, I'd say it's a 3/5. That's about what our last outing here was. If not for the ambience, it would've been a less desirable night. I'm starting to lean on this being a simply app's and cocktails kind of place enjoying some nice ambiance. We might give it one more shot to either write it off for dinner or not. We'll see. Trying to give it a fair chance.
We had a table of 6 people Sunday evening. Drinks were good, but took a long time to get to our table. The restaurant was not full. The apps were good. When our entrees arrived, 2 were completely wrong. When they finally arrived, the salmon cakes were dry and the pork chop was not cooked thoroughly. It was a $300+ ticket and nothing was compted.
It was my son's 21st birthday and he wanted to go here for the first time. We didn't know where it was, so we followed the gps. We had no idea they were having Dancing in the streets at this time. It made parking horrible. Coop's parking lot was closed off, but we made it there. The front desk staff was very nice. I wanted more choices on the menu. We got the loaded tater tots as an appetizer. They were delicious! Piping hot with cheese sauce and pulled pork on them! 10/10. I ordered bacon wrapped scallops as my entree because I love scallops and it was the only thing on the menu that piqued my interest. It was $37 and I got 3 scallops and some flavorless rice. The scallops were delicious, just not enough-in my opinion. I know that scallops are expensive. My son got the salmon. He switched the asparagus for Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was also flavorless. He said it was the worse he's ever had. He enjoyed the salmon and potatoes that came with it. I wanted a moscato but they didn't have it so the waitress recommended a white sangria. I got that and liked it a lot. There was no dessert menu but the waitress told us what items they had. I chose the seasonal peach cobbler. It was $14! I don't remember seeing the price on their ‘special' menu. I haven't tasted it yet, but the portion is not a $14 portion. We sat upstairs on the side facing the parking lot. So we were able to people watch. With the event going on outside, it was cool to watch since we weren't familiar with the area. I thought they would have done a birthday celebration for my son since I told them it was his birthday, but they didn't. No big deal. The waitress was nice and knowledgeable. We gave the experience a 7/10 and said we would go back again. Hopefully when there are no events outside. Lol
The Coop is my go to restaurant when I'm in Jacksonville Beach, FL. The space, decor, service and food are always consistently great. My favorite are the Lamb Chops Lollipops. They're 5 - 6 lovely lamb chops usually cooked to perfection. This time the chef was caught with too many orders and not enough defrosted chops. I had to wait longer than normal for my dinner but was comped a glass of wine and I wasn't in a rush. Unfortunately the chimichurri sauce, while tasty, was overpowering and too spicy which took away from the flavor of the meat. The server was lovely and made sure I, a single traveler, was comfortable and well taken care of. See you next time Coop 303.
