Come here for a healthy dose of bigotry. They have all sorts of sexist and homophobic rules posted, such as “we don’t recognize pronouns here” posted clear as day, along with Trump paraphernalia. Our waitress was sweet but I was done when the owner called me Princess.

Sat down, ordered 2 coffees, a roach came crawling out from the clutter on the table. I told the server there was a roach on the table. The server acted like she didn’t believe me. We decided to go somewhere else. We left money on the table for our coffee. As we walked out the door, she says from across the room, “aren’t you going to pay for your coffees?” I wasn’t looking for anything free, however, I wasn’t looking to dine with roaches either. I wouldn’t have left this review but for her attitude as we left. No thanks!

Highly recommend it’s really nice …the ‘killer cheesesteak’, steak n eggs, and breakfast burritos…really nice quality on everything and price point/portion. Instant classic

Great neighborhood diner. Ordered the Bowser Bowl which stacks cheese and eggs, with your choice of other toppings, on a waffle served up in a bowl. Was delicious. Must say, there is fun interaction with the owner, thin-skinned need not apply? Food was served up hot, quick and good portion. Mayport Road is better because of Dano's!

I absolutely love this place and the colonel. It’s an authentic diner. We don’t go out too each too much to be regulars but my young kids talk about it like it’s a Michelin star restaurant. An abundance of toys (apparently the ones the kids have at home can’t compare), awesome staff, and pancakes. Being born and raised in Massachusetts seeing Red Sox everywhere is another plus.
