I’m from nyc and this was the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life. The servings had almost no meat, and the “meat” did not seem like real meat. It had a horrible texture, I had to spit most of it out. It was also undercooked. But the dumplings were burnt to a crisp, and also had some interesting “meat” in them. I feel bad for anyone who thinks this is good Chinese food. Please go somewhere else.

It had the right look of a "NY Chinese" takeout spot but this place is serves up the worst food I've ever tried eating. I threw the whole meal out. The pork in the fried rice has that almost spoiled taste and the rice was hard. The general tso chicken didn't taste like much. It was rubber and grey.Dont even get me started on the $3 cheesesteak egg roll that was the size of 2 corks glued together and had no filling. Go to Panda express, at least their garbage food is edible

Used Uber Eats for my order. I got Hot and sour soup, Sesame Chicken, House Lo Mien and fried wonton. Everything was delicious. The soup needed a little extra seasoning but the chicken was fantastic. I really enjoyed it. I have never been inside the location so I don't anything about the staff, etc. I would absolutely order from here again. No greasy taste, nothing was dry. The sauces were really good.

OMG .... And NOT in a good way ... Perhaps the worst Chinese food I've eaten in 20 years ... Fried rice that was simply yellow rice ... Singapore noodles that had a grand total of 1/8 of a teaspoon of curry powder in the entire takeout container ... The noodles were still white in color ... And Szechuan beef that should have been advertised as Szechuan zucchini because that was the main ingredient ... The world's most bland unspiced brown sauce, that may as well have been a packet of brown gravy from the supermarket with some soy sauce mixed in ... Again no spice at all .... In what was supposed to be a fiery spice-forward dish .... Literally this place is as if their cook was named Roy who had borrowed his mother's copy of "Betty Crocker's How to cook Chinese Food" cookbook .... And the introduction to The cookbook had eight paragraphs on how the only spices that should be used are salt pepper and soy, because according to Betty "the American palate can handle nothing more, and will believe the soy sauce makes it taste exotic". . . . What a freaking sham. STAY AWAY from this place.

Recently moved to the Atlantic Beach area and decided to walk around to explore. I came across Hop Shing and decided to order some take-out. The lady behind the counter was quite pleasant and my order was speedily done. The food was hot and delicious. I'll definitely be back.
