Island Donuts is my go-to donut shop! All their donuts, fritters, cinnamon rolls, and donut holes are all made in house (which you can definitely tell with the first bite). I thoroughly enjoy their ice coffee, especially when they have the english toffee flavor available. The breakfast sandwiches are great to seal the deal. Staff are awesome as well!

Vegetarian options: They have egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches for the vegetarians as well as all their fresh products made in house being vegetarian friendly.

Kid-friendliness: The shop is very large for kids to play around in. Perfect spot to hold a play-date at!

First of all, I’ve never ordered anything from them but somebody in my neighborhood did and when I called to report that I got somebody else’s order they said oh well out of our hands we do third-party deliveries. When I asked them what they wanted me to do with the Delivery they said we don’t know . Person was very rude and dismissive.

Love the donuts and island feel!

This is the perfect spot to grab a few breakfast sandwiches and donuts. The cinnamon roll donut is huge and one of our favorites!

I like this cute little donut spot. I didn't get a chance to sit inside, but I did look around. It's quiet and clean. The counter employee was sweet and nice. The donuts were fresh and very tasty. Will come back to dine in and try more options and enjoy the atmosphere. It seemed calm and comfortable in the shop. I recommend this place, it's right behind Poes Tavern in Neptune Beach by PeterBooke.

I went to island donut on Monday and it was so good. They make there donuts fresh every day. I order a glaze donut just to keep it simple. It was so good and fresh, you can tell it was made today. I also ordered the heart stopper breakfast sandwich. I got it on a croissant with provolone cheese and double bacon.

Island Donuts in Atlantic Beach is truly a hidden gem. Tucked away in a little plaza on the corner of 3rd Street and Atlantic, you will find some of the yummiest donuts the Beach has to offer with some of the best customer service as the icing on the donut cake if you will ?. From the 1st time we walked into the shop a year ago to now, it's always a pleasant and welcoming environment. It doesn't take long for the team to learn not just your name but your order. Most days, my coffee is ready, and my sandwiches are being made in the back before I walk through the door.
You wouldn't think to do it, but you would be doing you a disservice by not at least trying one of their yummy breakfast sandwiches. Our go-to is the pork roll, egg and American cheese on an everything bagel....... heaven! They will even add a little razzle dazzle and put it on one of their donuts if you ask.
We are always ordering donut holes for my job as well, and so far, no matter how many I order, the team nails it! Supporting Local is so important, and Kayley makes it such a pleasure to do so. She is such an amazing person, and she really does a great job.
There's also a coloring station for the kids and a nice display of the art.

Parking: Parking in the plaza is supposed to be for people who are shopping or eating in the plaza. Unfortunately, there are those people who think it's okay to use the lot as Beach parking. Which it is NOT! They do have the right to call a tow truck and have your vehicle removed at YOUR EXPENSE, and I have seen it happen. There are plenty of signs posted stating that, so if you park and leave the plaza you do so at your own risk. But honestly, don't do that. It hurts businesses when customers can't park.

Super cute little shop! Smelled amazing as expected all kinds of donuts ? Cashier was super nice. Free refills on the coffee are a bonus! I tried the toasted coconut iced coffee and it is super yummy!

Pricey, even for the beach. My coffee was like warm, granted it was 10:45. The island fritter was yummy on the inside, but the outside just okay. The snickerdoodle donut was very dry; maybe better for dipping in your coffee. The jelly donut filling was very good, however the rest of the donut was bready, not light. The old fashioned glazed was just okay. Still searching for an amazing donut in Jacksonville area.
