Chris was very knowledgeable and friendly, a lot of the wine can be found in ABC liquor at a cheaper price. Especially with a $10 "recorking" fee

Top quality wine that isn’t absurdly priced, great small plates, and a cool vibe. That’s the takeaway.

Don’t have a refined wine pallet? No worries, ask Christopher what to get and he will hook it up. Don’t like wine? Not a problem, Royal Palm has a cool selection of unique beers in the fridge ready to go. Food is small plates and delicious.

Been here 3 times and I’m blown away by the food options and how the food turns out every time. Amazing. My wife and I have lived in Jax most of our lives and this has become one of our favorite restaurants.

Wow, this place is really amazing. It's really a retail wine store, and you pay retail prices for the wine. If you decide to eat there, you can then pay a ten dollar on corking fee for the wine that you bought, But you are only paying retail price for the wine and the cooking fee makes the wine a lot cheaper than if you were to buy it at a restaurant.

Now let's talk about the food. Every bit of food on the menu looked so good. But the ones we ordered were exceptional. We met the chef, Chris, and the servers, and the manager Devon were all so friendly and knowledgeable! We will definitely be back whenever we are in the jacksonville beach area!

Ambiance will grab you, the food will astound you, the wines will have you drooling. Perfect date night restaurant!

Let me first say that Royal Palm is one of my favorite places to go. Ambiance, wine selection, hostess are all excellent. The menu can definitely be a little funky but usually good.However, the most recent meal was really disappointing.To get into RP, the couple that was joining us for dinner walked past several of the staff (including kitchen staff) out back smoking weed. Hmmmm. Not judging, until it affects their performance.But the service and the food that night were frustratingly poor. Everything was off. It took several requests to get water, clean plates, a salad that was dressed, and ice. At one point, we had to ask the hostess to pitch in.It would have been a bad experience at another restaurant but was extra disappointing because it was there, a place we typically really enjoy.I hope it was a rare bad night at RP and not an indication of some sorry changes.

A great experience. The hardest part is deciding what to drink. They have a huge selection to choose from. I chose a dark brew, it was very flavorful with little after taste.
