Safe Harbor Seafood Restaurant

My husband had suggested we make the trek down to Safe Harbor to enjoy a meal and see what fresh seafood was available. We were taken care of quickly and our server apologized that they were out of their banana pudding. Our meals did not disappoint. We probably could have split one of the combo meals, but we both finished the shrimp and he finished his fish.

Great no frills spot for fresh seafood. Generous portions and reasonable prices. This is NOT a fancy restaurant, but it is a great food experience.

We had to go inside and order (we ate outside on the back deck) and the food was brought out to us. We got Conch Fritters, fishing sandwiches, and some gumbo- all were great and generously portioned. The tea refills were free, but you had to get your own (no biggie). We also had our dogs with us (another reason to eat on the deck) and they just watched the sea gulls be obnoxious. Good food, nothing fancy= a great lunch stop.

NEVER NEVER AGAIN WILL WE SPEND OUR MONEY HERE! FOOD NOWHERE NEAR AS GOOD AS IT USED TO BE! 😈ALL FOOD WAS COLD AND BURNT! STAFF DON'T WANT TO WORK! WE HAD TO ASK FOR THE TABLE TO BE CLEANED THEN HAD TO ASK FOR THE FLOOR TO BE SWEPT🤔 DOCKSIDE BEACH BLVD IS WHERE WE WILL CONTINUE TO GO WHICH IS THE VERY BEST FRESH COOKED FOOD EVER‼️

This was it. Fresh seafood. Great environment. Such friendly and down to earth staff. I’m not sure if he is owner but the jolly guy in the glasses. Gave me the mango habanero sauce. You are such an awesome person. Watching you interact with the veterans, civilian, elderly. You are honestly one of a kind. Such a loving and positive environment. I will gladly drive from St. John’s to this spot. The younger servers; both the gentleman in the pink hoodie who took our older, to the blue top who delivered our order. This place gets it right. Thank you again!

Great food

Shrimp(local mayport) delicious. Crinkle fries undercooked and unseasoned. Did not receive dessert with order. Situation was immediately remedied. Slaw not good at all. Just expected more from the sides since the shrimp plate was higher than average. Better getting shrimp only. $40 for platter, beer and dessert 😞. Wait staff kept screaming at other diners to stop feeding the gulls which was annoying. Beautiful views

Grilled Mayport Shrimp - seasoned to perfection! It just doesn't get any better 5han what they serve. Very reasonable pricing (in today's economy). Don't miss it!
