When you want fresh, local seafood, head here. Luz took great care of us. Maybe too good as everyone is now napping after such great food and service. ? We followed her suggestions and were rewarded with fabulous meals. It's a basic seafood place but you don't come here for ambience, you come for great food. And you should come here!

Shared the combo platter, broiled (substituted extra scallops for the oysters) and bowl of soup with my wife. Plenty of food, perfectly seasoned and cooked. Hush puppies had just the right amount of seasoning. Mondays special, lucky for us, was military discount. However, our waitress was distracted, forgetful and clearly having a bad day. Half way thru our meal another waitress told us that ours had to go home. New server was absolutely wonderful despite being shorthanded at the time. The way a restaurant handles adversity is a mark of the team culture and Seafood kitchen excelled. My only regret is that I don't live closer.

Nice little seafood restaurant in a plaza off of Atlantic Ave. They run various daily specials, and I just happen to be fortunate enough to catch the Tuesday shrimp special. 20 shrimp with sides for like $15 or $16. Shrimp with sides was awesome, and the service was outstanding as well. They were busy at the time and had a little wait; however, it was no big deal. Enjoyed my visit and will be back when in the Jax area.

Great food, we really enjoyed everything we ate especially blackened shrimp and the Brussel sprouts ! The fried crab was a little salty for our taste buds but everything else was tremendous especially the service. Ally is a great waitress .

This is a phenomenal place, and its hard to find somewhere to start, but here goes,Firstly, out waiter Liz was the nicest, most kind and friendly waiter of all time. She taught my son how to eat crab legs, brought wet wipes, refills, everything we needed. So kind and friendly. (She deserves a raise)Secondly, the food was incredible. Our table was filled to the brim with mountains of food, and all of it was exceptional.Thirdly, the atmosphere was great. Family restaurant. Super mom n pop, awesome decorations.Fourthly, did we tell you we love Liz?

Liz was wonderful! From the time we were seated @4pm to our way out the door - she was on top of it and so great with my children! We visited for the Crab Leg special on Tuesday, April 2nd. Food was hot, served timely, and all of our meals were excellent! We can’t wait to return on our next visit to the area and will be adding the Seafood Kitchen to our list of places we MUST dine at when in town! Well worth the visit for some great seafood! We had 4 adults and 2 children in our party and were well accommodated. No alcohol, bill was approx. $140. (5 servings of crab leg special, 3 apps, fish tacos, kids chicken tenders/fries, kids cheeseburger/salad, and 3 soft drinks/3waters).Parking: Part of a larger shopping/restaurant location - plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: I have twin 9yr olds - Liz immediately offered them the “Superwoman” Lavender drink (basically lemonade) which they loved! They were treated like other adults at the table being asked what they wanted rather than me being asked for them. One of them is also VERY picky about food and she not only ate her entire kids meal (chicken tenders/fries), she also tried (AND LIKED) the hush puppies! My other daughter asked for a salad to go with her burger and Liz brought her a full size one, not just a little baby salad. As far as selection for kids, they had plenty. They had the staples like chicken, burgers and fries, but also a selection of seafood items to choose from as well.

I've been there a couple times, mostly good experiences. Not much there for atmosphere, but food and service was good. The last time I went, it was about 30 minutes before they closed. As I was getting out of my car (near the door), one of the employees came over and locked the door and walked away... I'll never go back.
