Fried mac n cheese was So good! The ramen is always on point, and the fried batter used for chicken and shrimp is seasoned well and crispy. Not big fan or dessert, but kids liked it. The biscuits are Amazing! A must try with many options that won't disappoint.
This place merged three of my favorite food, fried chicken, Ramen, and seafood. It was so good, we try and go every time we are in Jacksonville visiting.
I absolutely adore this gem. It's first and foremost rich with history. However the richness doesn't stop there. The flavor profile in each meal is amazingly delectable. Everyone I've taken falls in love. My daughter and I recently went for lunch. I had the veggie fireball Ramen and her, the shrimp basket with a side of chicken. She was in heaven. You don't want to miss out on phenomenal comfort food that truly gives you the feeling of love in every drop.
We have been here a few times. Once a 5 star establishment. Each time we go thr staff gets a little more rude, the lists of rules get longer, the chicken gets a little more dry when served.
Incredible 😍
If you're headed to the beach, skip Publix fried chicken and opt for chicken from this gem instead! Right off Mayport if you're headed to Hannah Park. (Pictured is 4 piece dark meat - 2 thighs, 2 legs)
We placed a to go order, and everything was pipping hot. The chicken was good, but I don't know about it being the BEST in Jacksonville. It was seasoned and moist it just tasted like chicken cooked at home by granny. The ramen was good and filling. However, since it was my 1st time having REAL Ramen, I didn't know which broth to choose, and the one I ordered was way too smokey for me. All in all it's a cute place with very nice employees. It definitely gives picnic food vibes 😋 😄
They have the best fried chicken I think we have ever had. I was amazed to find somewhere that had two amazing comforts foods in one place: Ramen & fried chicken. Everything was fresh and hot. We ordered a little bit of everything since it was our first visit. The chicken was juicy and the skin was seasoned to perfection (i usually don't eat the skin). The red Cajun dipping sauce was amazingly spicy. Make sure to get the sweet tea, it's like lemon brisk. The veggie Ramen was salty and savory with crispy tofu and tons of veg. My kids had Ramen with pork and seasoned eggs and the chicken base was light. Even their fries were great. To top it off we ordered the fried honey biscuits. They were fluffy inside and the honey on top was perfect. I threw some chicken in one and it might be a new thing. We will def be back!
Love it

This is a quaint lil' hole in the wall spot that serves up some absolutely delicious fried chicken and Ramen, and at a great price! You must try the biscuits as well. The owners of the place are very hospitable and definitely have my future patronage when I'm in the area. This is a great spot for anyone and everyone.
