I’ll be real—I tried Rosalita’s a few years ago and left feeling like the most exciting thing about the place was the parking lot. Fast forward to now, and thanks to the owners adding Karaoke nights, I’ve been making a comeback more dramatic than a telenovela.
Let’s talk karaoke: Tuesday nights are absolutely where it’s at. The host is smooth, funny, and reads the room like a pro. He’s got just the right mix of charm and chill, and somehow makes you feel like both a rockstar and a regular. If karaoke had a VIP section, he’d be running it in his gator tooth cowboy hat. 🐊
Friday nights, on the other hand… well, they’ve got a younger guy hosting who definitely has spunk to spare. And enthusiasm. It’s like karaoke mixed with a Monster Energy commercial. He’s clearly trying—and that effort is appreciated—but sometimes it comes across as a little over-the-top especially when he uses a blowup saxophone and inflatable guitar during songs, which adds a certain… party-store chaos quirk. I half-expected a bachelorette party to break out mid-chorus. That said, the guy’s got heart and he’s clearly passionate about what he’s doing. With a bit more suave and some time behind the mic, I think he could really grow into the role.
Now let’s raise a glass—preferably one served by Michelle, the absolute gem behind the bar. Michelle isn’t just a bartender—she’s a magician. Drinks appear before you realize you need them. She’s fast, friendly, sharp, and drop-dead gorgeous in that effortlessly elegant kind of way. Inside and out, she’s the real deal. If you’re not tipping Michelle, you’re not doing life right. If you’re lucky enough to get a seat at the bar, stay there and never leave.
Food-wise? I’ve been working through the combo platters like it’s my personal Tex-Mex mission. But last night I went full send and ordered the Surf & Turf fajitas—steak and shrimp sizzling together in perfect harmony. Absolutely phenomenal. BUT—and this is a tortilla-sized “but”—you only get three flour tortillas with this $23 masterpiece. Three. Come on, man. The tortillas are soft, fluffy perfection… and by the time I was halfway through the meat, I was already out of shells. I would’ve gladly paid for one or two more. Just don’t make me choose between wrapping my fajita or weeping quietly into my skillet.
Bottom line: Rosalita’s has found its groove. Between the top-tier Tex-Mex, karaoke nights (especially Tuesdays), and Michelle running the bar like a boss, this place has become a legit favorite. Just don’t forget to ask for extra tortillas. 🌮🎤🍹
I love coming to Rosalita’s!!! It has great service, great vibes, and great food. I always get their spinach and chicken enchilada - delicious every time. Margaritas are huge and sooo good.
I ordered a Chili dish, that I guess was a soup?
Never had before and never will again... brothy, some corn n that's it.
Friend enjoyed his Enchilada though.
The food is INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS AND AFFORDABLE especially considering today's economy, this place dont play and they dont price gouge
Same building, new menu, the food really went downhill. You can't tell me that an oversized quesadilla is a fajita. I know what fajitas are, and I'm Caucasian. I don't know what happened to the flour tortillas or if they went gluten-free, but that was the worst chicken quesadilla I ever had. It was greasy, half the size of the "fajita" My dad got, And it broke apart. Would that being said, it certainly does not merit the price of what they were charging for it. The service is probably the only good thing about this place. Because even the menu didn't have a whole lot of choices. The new menu looked as if it was made to Better accommodate the lack of staff they had.

Ordered a chicken chimicanga and it was absolutely disgusting. The chicken had a weird smell. It was a complete waste of time, gas and money. I would definitely NOT recommend them, coming from a first and last time customer!!!!

Went on a monday night ordered two skinny margaritas the worst margaritas ive ever had in my life. My mom and I split the bill $20 the bartender altered the tip I got charged $21 and my mother $10 manager did absolutely nothing but tell me to come in to take the cash out of his own pocket. Complete thieves!!! Horrible place

Honestly, we will not be returning. The queso “fondue” was less than appetizing. We ordered chicken fajitas to split and there were 6 chunks of chicken for 6 tortillas (with a split meal charge). The chicken was dry and brown….something was off about it. We had one taco each and left most of the food untouched, which has never been a problem before. My fiancee ordered a skinny margarita and it was undrinkable. Either too much lime or sour mix. Unfortunate because our server was nice and the bar looked like a fun time.

I used to love this restaurant, always friendly and food was consistent. Well last night we ordered 5 dinners to go. When I placed the order the girl on the phone was very sweet and knowledgeable. Unfortunately when my husband went to pick up the food he called me and wanted to see what we ordered because he thought it was wrong. Well it was, accidents happen. So he went in to tell them and after 3 attempts to get it resolved, including the manager making rude comments asking if he would like a chair too, I’m assuming because asking for a correct order would be unreasonable, and apparently an inconvenience. My husband was sent away assured it was correct. Came home and it of course was not correct 3 out of the 5 were wrong, asked for extra guac, was charged for it. Did not receive it. Not to mention the food was not very good. Dry and bland, and not at all what we expected. No one finished there dinners, some of the food looked awful. Would not even eat it. Won’t be going back, not recommend to anyone. Something at that restaurant has changed and it’s not for the better.
