Amazonica in the Aventura Mall is a great Colombian inspired spot that has been around for years, and for good reason. Their food is always fresh and full of flavor. The arepas, hot dogs, obleas, and cholados are all consistently amazing. It is one of those places you can go back to over and over and know exactly what you are getting. Friendly service, quick prep, and great taste. A solid choice every time.

Last weekend, we found this great little restaurant booth at Aventura Mall near Macy's that has delicious baked goods, desserts, coffee and snacks. It's very casual there.

We ordered the Beef empanadas, Chicken empanadas, a Nutella quesadilla, and 6 little cheesy pastelitos. My favorites were the chicken empanadas and the cheesy pastelitos...yummmy!!! The servers were friendly and welcoming.

The food was so good that we may stop...
