This one really hurts. I've been here many times and always overlooked their high prices because the food is genuinely very good and the staff are lovely.
I went back last week, ordered a dish to share, and was hit with a $12.50 extra charge just for splitting the plate I was already paying for. It feels like pure greed. Out of principle, won’t be going back, unfortunately.

Don’t waste your money! The waitress, Eden, added an 18% tip without asking and tried to hide it by not giving a receipt. Two shawarma pitas cost a ridiculous amount, and the service was completely dishonest. This place is a scam – stay away!

Baguette Nir is hands down one of the best Israeli spots in Aventura. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warm and casual atmosphere that makes you instantly comfortable. It’s the kind of place where the food speaks for itself — fresh, flavorful, and authentic.
The schnitzel is absolutely fantastic — perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and full of flavor. It’s exactly how schnitzel should be done, and it quickly became one of my go-to orders. The shawarma is another highlight, packed with seasoning and cooked to perfection, with that classic taste that reminds you of being in Israel. And the lamb dishes are just as good, tender and bursting with flavor in every bite.
What I love most about Baguette Nir is that no matter what you order, the portions are generous, the food is always fresh, and you can tell they put care into making each dish. It’s rare to find a spot that nails multiple dishes so well, but they’ve definitely done it.
Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or sitting down with friends and family, this place delivers an amazing dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to anyone in the area looking for authentic Israeli food.
