We haven't been t this restaurant in a while , today we decided to give it a chance again , the food was good we order the lechón asado and the half chicken they both were tasty , we had yuca con mojo, black beans , moros and everything was good. Service has always suck a this restaurant, they lack attention and good costumer service, there was no ambience I even asked why there was no music playing and the lady told me they never play music , the people was so loud we could hear their conversations , so ambience at all , the decor es average nothing special, the bathroom was clean. It will a long while for us to go back if we do.

Great menu with a Latin flare. We had the Vaca Frita salads and charasco. All were delicious. Plentiful self parking. The staff was very much into hospitality and efficient quick service. This was our first visit and we'll be back.

Go there often and food is usually very good. Food was OK this time but the service and the place really disappointing. Freezing cold, air conditioning, which they never fix lower even though numerous customers are not comfortable. We asked to warm it up. Miserably cold. Server - pleasant but we had to find her every time looking for her as she was often in small room talking with staff. Started out ordering calamari as we always do, only to find out quite a bit later that they were out of calamari. Bummer. For entree: asked to switch sauces for a dish and they made such a big deal that you couldn't have a different sauce. Wanted to charge extra for it. I've done it in the past no problem. Totally ruined the evening over simple things and bad service.
I had a terrible experience at Barrio Latino. The service was okay, but the food was absolutely awful. The chicken, shrimp, and steak supreme fajitas were disgusting. The steak seemed over-marinated and old, almost rancid. The chicken breast tasted like it had been precooked. The shrimp were of low quality. The vegetables were limp. The spices and seasonings were completely unbalanced. The shrimp enchiladas with two sides were equally terrible. There was no balance between saltiness and flavor. The sauce was repulsive. The potatoes were raw inside, mushy, and burnt on the outside. The service was decent, but it's hard to evaluate the waiter's performance with such terrible food. I will not be returning and I do not recommend dining here.
