This particular Nordstrom Bistro Café is phenomenal. Not only is the food consistently delicious, but the staff is among the kindest and most welcoming I’ve ever encountered in the service industry. And I’ve traveled the world.
When I visited last weekend, one of the hosts, Donna, immediately recognized me—even though my last visit was nearly six months before! She greeted my family warmly and even remembered the exact soup I liked. I was genuinely taken aback that someone who sees so many customers every day would remember me like that. It was incredibly flattering and speaks volumes about the level of care here. Donna is simply a gem.
Jermaine (“J”), who had also waited on us during a previous visit, greeted us with the same warmth and familiarity. He recalled elements from our previous conversation there and heartily asked about the rest of our family. It’s clear that the staff truly pays attention to their customers and takes pride in making people feel welcome.
Even our waitress that day, Maya, who was new to us, was absolutely kind, attentive, and professional in every way. She was ready to jump and assist us with anything we needed. Refills, extra sauce, to-go orders were addressed instantaneously.
Kudos to Nordstrom for hiring such exemplary people. I wish we could return this restaurant to Miami’s Dadeland Mall. Even though each visit requires a hefty 45-minute drive for us, experiences like this make visiting the Bistro Café a highlight for my family. Furthermore, being remembered as a customer means more than you might realize. Highly recommend this place in every single way!!!

Nordstrom Café Bistro has been part of our lives for over 13 years. My son was just 6 years old when we first started coming here, and he is now 19. That alone should say everything about the consistency and quality of this place.
The food is always fresh, beautifully presented, and reliably delicious. But what truly makes this location special is the hospitality. Manager Jorge is exceptional. He creates an atmosphere that feels warm, welcoming, and personal. Over the years, he has always greeted us with genuine kindness and professionalism. You can feel that he truly cares about his guests.
It is rare to find a restaurant that maintains this level of service and attention for so many years. This café is not just somewhere we eat, it is part of our family memories as my son grew up.

0/10. Do not recommend. Burger was burnt, bun was burnt, we asked for medium. Ordered a brownie and it was burnt you can smell the scent of burnt from the second the server placed the brownie on table. Never coming back.

Horrible service, the staff more distracted about chatting among themselves than servicing customer. They took forever to serve 3 customers and to top it off even forgot my sandwich, I had to remind them.
