Failed attempt at gourmet food. Very overpriced for the quality. The grilled grouper was tough and tasteless ($38). It seemed more baked than grilled. It was unappetizing to look at. The cold octopus carpaccio appetizer ($28) was tender but flavorless. It was served on a dirty plate and garnished with a sad version of papas arrugadas. It was a miniscule serving of stale, cold, spongy, purple potato chunks. The well made Chicha Morada Pisco cocktail ($18) was strong yet sweet. The booth upholstery needs cleaning and the table lamps need repainting. Service was attentive (mandatory 20% tip included). Validate your parking at the reception desk. The best part of the experience was the beautiful architecture and decor of the restaurant and bar. There's also an outdoor deck with a good view situated beside the swimming pool. I would only come back to enjoy a cocktail at the bar. Located on the seventh floor of the Hilton Hotel.

I decided to try Gala Restaurant & Muse Bar in Aventura, mainly due to its social media presence and the allure of a new dining spot. Located on the 7th floor of the Hilton with an outdoor pool view seating, the ambiance is quite appealing. Unfortunately, the dining experience did not match the promising setting.I visited for brunch, and the overall experience was underwhelming. The cappuccino was below average, lacking the rich flavor and smooth texture one would expect. The lox eggs Benedict was similarly disappointing. The potatoes tasted as if they had been prepared long in advance and simply reheated, resulting in a dry and unappetizing texture.Even the waffles, which I hoped would be a highlight, were nothing extraordinary. They were bland and lacked the crispiness that defines a good waffle.Considering the many dining options available in the area, Gala Restaurant & Muse Bar falls short. Despite the convenient location for Hilton guests, there are definitely better alternatives nearby. I wouldn't recommend dining here unless improvements are made to the food quality

Enjoyed lunch on the patio - a lovely spot. Service a tad slow…but it’s Miami lol. Burger was good and it got the job done. VERY fresh side salad greens. Overall not bad at all.

We have been to Gala many times and really enjoy it. Last night there was a new menu and we were very disappointed not to see many of our favorite items, including crispy skin red snapper and crispy brussels sprouts! Please bring some of the old menu items back again!
Dont go! it was a horrible dinning experience . slow service ,bought the wrong drinks. when we ordered second drinks told us they are out of the cocktail we liked. food was not good. They performed a ridiculous attempt of cutting the mushrooms poached plastic bag with tiny scissors . fish was over cooked . 2 pasta dishes where not tasty . chicken skewers where dry cold and small. The nice cozy elegant decor and the long story of how this place is about women creation and women empowerment is not enough to run this restaurant. maybe if all staff where women, not men ,it might have helped . Beyond disappointment! I can't figure out how open table reviewers are giving this place 4.5 stars ?????

Great restaurant, very comfortable and great ambience for any meal. Can easily accommodate couples or families with indoor or outdoor dining. Very helpful, friendly and efficient staff.
we were party of 6 celebrating 83rd birthday. The weather necessitated we go indoors for eating instead of outside where the fans over the table could not be shut. We had to wait 35 minutes for any table... which happened after one of the men in our party suggested they put to tables together. For this, the appetizers were on the house (brussels sprouts and gracamole were very good) .Sadly, this did not make up for what transpired at the end of the meaL. The disappointment came when in the restaurant protocal for settling the bill was so messed up. We would have been better having asked for separater checks, instead of asking for the total food bill to be split 3 ways. The restaurant manager and the server billed incorrectly!! the food bill was $273 whereas the drink bill $86. They split the drink bill 3 ways instead of the food bill. Imagine reviewing your bill and finding you paid for everyone's dinners???? all 3 couples wanted their respective charge receipts. When this was pointed out to the manager, we needed to go to the front desk to resolve this. Their credit card machine was not working. Had they told us this originally, we could have stated to separate the bill. NO ONE COMMUNICATED THIS. Almost another hour spent standing at the front desk hoping they can correct this gross error. At this time, one couple's bill is not resolved. My bill has reversal of the entire food bill.... it is a mess. BEWARE.While at the front desk, the manager finally offered to not charge for the drinks.I could say a lot more on the mis handling of the situation...... I will save that for the manager of the hotel.I will speak with the hotel manager this week.we have enjoyed the food at the Gala previously. It will be a VERY LONG TIME before ever returning....

Unfortunately very disappointing. The octopus was undercooked, cold inside and therefore not edible. Unfortunately I had to return it. The prices do not correspond to the price list that can be viewed in the room. According to the service it is the old menu.
