International Smoke

The food was absolutely delicious. I came in for brunch in a party of four. We made our reservation on Open Table, so we were sat immediately, but our server was not the best. She was probably double sat, which is understandable. I guess management noticed that her service was slow and we got a new waitress during the meal. So that was a fantastic observation by the staff!

We were excited to be going on a family night out. We ended up disappointed however because:

Raphael and his staff have nailed the bbq experience. Ribs are tender fall off the bone with great sauces to suit. All the sides are excellent. Cocktails are expertly crafted by Michelle and her staff. A must go to in the aventura malll

The drinks are really good! Food definitely has a smokey flavor that is savory and unique. Great experience. Nice date night or girls night. My favorite is the macaroni! I normally dont order Macaroni when I'm out but they have an excellent rib tip macaroni.

First off, the service and the ambiance of this restaurant are great. Our waiters were super nice and helpful.. However, the food was not great and the prices are ridiculously expensive. Cheapest red wine starts at $60. They do have a very reasonable priced children’s menu, which had quite a few options and the serving size was appropriate. But for adults, the food was OK nothing really special to its flavors or presentation a ordered trio of ribs for $48 and came With a small garnish as a side - plus not a fan of the ribs, three different flavors tasted almost the same. Not worth it.

I like the ambiance of this restaurant. However, the food was not great. There were five in my party, and all were disappointed with their entrees except one who had a delicious cheeseburger. I ordered a red snapper, and the presentation is cute, but it was the "fishiest" tasting snapper I ever had. It had a burnt taste to it. Perhaps it was smoked. The macaroni and cheese plus the shapeshifter cocktail were delicious. The service was excellent.

First off this place is understaffed, when we went in there was no host we waited then finally I walked to a server to ask if someone could sit us. After waiting we finally got a table which we had to wait to be cleaned but even then we had to get the napkins and clean it ourselves. We ordered drinks which were decent and also order the cornbread, Mac and cheese, Tokyo chicken, the brisket sandwich, skewers and honestly the only thing good was the cornbread and Mac and cheese. We returned the brisket it just wanted worth eating.

We went to the restaurant for Christmas Eve. Everything started out just perfect. The waitress was super nice and helpful in the beginning. Kids wanted to watch Harry Potter that was on in the bar area and she even offered to ask to turn the TV a bit so they could see it. BUT ..the bigger party comes in and BOOM.. the waitress does not care about 4 of us any longer. I asked for another glass of wine- never got it and when I told her I did not want it any more , she did not even say sorry. That is really a shame to have your staff totally dump a smaller party for a big one. I felt like I am nothing. The food was good though.

The food at International Smoke is nothing short of divine, but even better than that was the exceptional customer service give by Max. It was out first time there and he knew exactly what to recommend. He was very attentive and we might as well had been the only diners there. Overall a very pleasant experience that I would do again and recommend to everyone.

Awesome meal and service. Great drinks as well. Highly recommend the ribs, my favorite in Aventura. Great ambiance and design with an emphasis on comfort and elegance, both indoors and in an enclosed garden-like space outside. The garden outside is perfect for events. A real gem inside Aventura mall.

Ribs were the best I have ever had. Went for the 3 different type racks. Wow!

Krystal was amazing, made my first experience at International Smokehouse great. I will definitely be back!

Lovely restaurant located near the slide. Tucked back into a quiet corner for Happy hour on the patio, delicious, menu and reasonable prices.

The service was perfect. The food was delicious! The atmosphere was spot on. They clearly paid attention to detail when setting this restaurant up! We had a great meal!
