Food was overall good. Did not like the lomo saltado, little meat, sauce too heavy Also the tiradoto on the $59 special did not like the dressing It is pricey but why save on 2/3 more pieces of meat

I am not really a mall person, but Jarana on the periphery was outstanding! Met with a wine maker to taste vintage ports so the table ordered quite a few items from the menu. What a great pairing and all the menu items were authentic and perfectly delicious.

The food was alright. They definitely put a unique spin on many of the Peruvian dishes. You really just need to like the flavor profiles they use for the dishes.

Just had an amazing lunch at JARANA! Brandon provided great service and was very friendly. He checked in with us often and made us feel taken care of. The Peruvian Fisherman’s Platter exceeded our expectations and is a must try. Everything was cooked perfectly and was very flavorful. We will absolutely be back!! Thank you for a great meal!

We drove an hour to try this new Peruvian restaurant by one of the most famous chefs in Peru, but unfortunately, we left highly disappointed.

The menu had all the classic Peruvian favorites, so we thought it would live up to the hype. But right from the start, there were red flags. They even charge you for canchita, which any traditional Peruvian restaurant offers complimentary as you browse the menu.

I ordered a chicha morada pisco sour, my husband had a beer, and our two kids had Inca Kola. We started with two orders of anticuchos de corazón — the flavor was great, but some pieces were quite chewy.

My son asked for a lomo saltado without vegetables, and to my surprise, they said that couldn’t be done. We dine at Peruvian restaurants at least five times a month, and no one has ever refused that simple request. It’s a dish sautéed to order — leaving out the veggies shouldn’t be an issue. But nope, not possible.

We also ordered arroz chaufa and seco de carne, both of which tasted good but nothing exceptional. For dessert, we had a chocolate cake.

While the food was just okay, I’ll admit the ambience was nice and our server was very sweet. We were ready to move on and give them some grace — until the check arrived: $330.

I honestly felt robbed. Three main dishes, two appetizers, a dessert, a drink, a beer, and two sodas. Call me crazy, but I felt it was steep.

We eat out several times a week and don’t mind paying good money for quality food — but this simply wasn’t worth it. Sadly, none of the nine of us who dined there will be coming back.

It’s truly disappointing to see such a high-caliber chef fail to deliver what his name and reputation stand for.

We definately paid for the name, not for the quality of food. Had we done the latter, I wouldn't be upset the least bit!

Amazing experience. Amazing food. Chef Martha is amazing, super attentive and her food is delicious. Our server was Joe and he's very knowledgeable about the menu, he gave us excellent recommendations. Cesar is also amazing and suck a sweetheart!
100% will come back!
We had the green smoked dip, tuna tacos, the seafood stew, pesto pasta with NY, criollo platter and every dish was better than the last one. Can't recommend it enough
