On holiday from London, UK and exploring downtown Miami, I stumbled upon JRK on Biscayne – and I’m so glad I did! I ordered the jerk chicken with rice and peas, which comes with three veg sides. I went for steamed cabbage, broccoli and plantain, with jerk BBQ sauce, plus a beef patty to start. Honestly, it’s the best I’ve tasted in a long time – authentic, packed with flavour, and cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. If you’re in town, you have to stop by. You won’t be disappointed! I ate it too quick to take photos, sorry - next time :)

I have been coming to this restaurant since it opened. I would come at least 3 times a week. I signed up for the rewards program and at first they honored the program. The last 2 times I went to redeem my rewards the manager refused to honor what I earned. They only gave me half of the money I earned as a loyal customer. Unfortunately loyalty isn’t bond here. The manager also stated that there must be something shady going on for my account to be showing something different than what their system is showing. The cashier told me that I must be misunderstanding the reward system. The system is pretty straightforward; you accumulate 100 points, you get 10 dollars. Why have a system that you don’t honor? I will never come here again!

The food was just heavenly, I haven’t found anything like this before. I ordered the chicken bowl and it can’t even compete with Chipotle it’s just that good. I recommend highly that you visit and eat here. Once again, amazing food! 😍
