Searching for a place to enjoy dinner with family, we came across Motek. It turned out to be a great choice with very plentiful portions of lamb and fish. The pita bread was especially good even without any humus. Service was friendly but could have been a little faster, perhaps challenged by being very busy on a weekend night. All in all everyone left full and quite satisfied. Worthy of another visit.

Went for lunch, tried the hummus that was different but good, then the chicken pinchos that were less than OK, ambience was nice, service fresh. The best was the pita bread that was fantastic. Bit over oriced

So their phone system says that this restaurant takes cash. You go there and then they don't want to accept cash. They deny it in an extraordinarily aggressive and rude way, especially the tall Olive skinned manager was going to basically attack me. She came right up to me at the bar very rudely. They deny that their system even says it and it does say that they accept cash. I had to play it for them. She refused to give me her name. It does say that they take cash. They are extremely rude nobody should ever go to this restaurant they are a disgrace to the very fine Aventura Mall and they just can't get their act together. I will discuss this with Simon Property Group and the Sofer family! Uphaled As other diners have stated staff is beyond rude. Restaurant should be replaced. She tried to intimidate me the same woman telling me everybody else is playing with credit card. Next thing you know they'll only want to take crypto.

We had dinner at Motek while vacationing in the area. We enjoyed it so much, we came back for a second time a few days later. The hummus with laffa bread is incredible. The laffa bread comes out hot from the oven. The chicken schnitzel and everything else that we tried was great. This location of Motek is at the Aventura Mall and includes a nice outdoor dining space. The restaurant was casual.

Before arriving to the mall I checked online for a breakfast location and times and chose the venue based on that. I arrived at 10 and was seated, the hostess did not give me a menu. Someone was close by arranging glasses, no one offered me water. At 10.06 the hostess came and told me they had no servers as they were all in a meeting. This seemed odd as there were many staff floating around. I asked for the manager who was lovely but did not fix the situation. How can you say you open at 10 but can not even take a coffee order? I left as I was very hungry and had a whole day to get on with. Very disappointing .

The food was Good. It was my first time at this location and I was alone for lunch. It took a Good 10 minutes for the server to come. He apologized for the delay and explained why he was delayed. I still didn't like it because someone could have explained why I was just sitting there for so long. I was on my phone and just not in the mood for drama so I waited. Then what I didn't like was that they added a 20% service charge. He did ask me if it was okay and I said it was because I wasn't in the mood to argue over pennies. I've been to the Coral Gables location many times & ordered as well, and I have never had any issues. So I didn't enjoy my visit overall. I just ate the food & left.

Excellent Israeli middle eastern food in a nice ambiance and friendly service. The Hummus is awesome, the Laffa (iraqi pita) is perfect and the lamb kebab tender and flavorful. The Rimonim lemonade drink very refreshing. Easy parking at the mall.
The staff were lovely (especially as we were driving them mad to fit us in 😆). All accommodating but Naomie served us and she was lovely. YUM food, perfect size portions and lovely decor outdoors (didn’t feel like a mall setting at all). Can’t wait to come Back when next in MIA!

Good food but disappointing by the delays and service. Went to Motek after hearing great things about the food and the atmosphere and how challenging it can be to get a reservation. We started with apps which were delicious- hummus, pita and fried cauliflower were all great. The problem was with the mains. The food was good but only once it came. One of our main courses was delivered at least 30 minutes after the first despite our asking about the delay. We were told it was on the way but everyone else at the table was way beyond done by the time the last meal arrived. They offered us a complementary dessert but the situation could really have been handled better by the restaurant. While the service was fine it was not outstanding for a 20% charge especially given the delay etc.

Restaurant Motek at Aventure Mall, and we were very disappointed. The food was good , but the real issues were the tiny portion sizes, outrageous prices, and—most shockingly—the mandatory 20% service charge. They even have the nerve to tack on extra fees at the terminal, if you like the service. Let me explain: paying $29 for a beef Kufta kebab dish that include one piece of kufta ( look like a medium sausage) with nothing more than a small a slice of grilled tomato, a few decorative onions, and a dollop of sauce on the side is simply absurd . The portion is ridiculously small for all the dishes and while you might argue that prices are rising everywhere, it’s hard to justify spending that kind of money . With the added insult of a compulsory 20% service charge, it’s clear that we won’t be returning. This is a restaurant to avoid—unless you’re in the mood to be ripped off.

i dont recomend this place at all,i order a burger the bun was hard and no taste ,the kids pasta with pink sauce no flavor,we came before when it was taco box everyting was good and taste,now is disgustting first and last time for us,we was regular customers ,dont come back service was excellent blass a server very kind and sweet,chef kitchen and new management sucks ,dont come here guys very dissapointed
