I've been eating here for like 15 or more years. But, for two reasons I will never return. One, the quality has gone down a lot in the past year or so, especially the quality of the meat.
Two, and much more seriously, my daughter and I both got food poisoning from here last night. I believe from the white rice, which suggests improper foodhandling. I was in so much pain I ended up at the ER until 2AM. My 5 year old daughter threw up a dozen times. Im sure it was from here due to timing of the illness.
I actually got food poisoning from here once before about 8 years ago but I gave them the benefit of the doubt that it was a one off because I liked the restaurant. Never again. Especially with the decline in quality ill never risk it again. I wouldn't wish the pain I was in last night on anyone. There are other Chinese restaurants. Many. Stay away.

I’m from out of town and someone recommended this restaurant. At first I was hesitant to try, seeing negative reviews about the long wait but we decided anyways. There were no available tables in the main dining area but we were quickly seated by some tables by the bar. I mentioned that my young child was super hungry and we ordered quickly. The waitress accommodated us and we received my child’s food very quickly as well as our appetizers. We didn’t wait too long overall for our food and the service was actually great. The food was also very tasty. The waitress kept checking on us and overall we had a great experience!

The food is always amazing at Mr.Chef's. My go to comfort food is the Crispy Honey Chicken and White Rice!! Always recommend my friends to have great Chinese food from this restaurant!!

Food was ok but service was extremely slow and food took long, took about 2 hours in total to get out of there, had to get up and go look for waiter to pay and to ask for to go boxes, I would never return even if I was offered a free meal, rather go to PF changs than this lousy place. Strongly don’t recommend to anyone

Avoid this restaurant at all costs! The manager Mimi is a horrible rude person! She is biased against elderly&disabled people. Makes people wait 30-40 min for tables,then seats people who arrive after you. They'll tell you the tables were already reserved. Complete lie. Mimi is disrespectful&abusive to loyal customers. She needs to be replaced because this restaurant is losing business due to her terrible attitude This place is totally disorganized. Check online.....many health violations during last health dept check as well Do not spend your hard earned money here

. We had a 7 PM reservation for five on a Friday night. Service was extremely slow and disorganized. We waited a long time for basic things like plates, cutlery, and water, and one cracked glass was taken away but never replaced. Food came out very late and in stages, so we were eating at different times. The food itself was very tasty, but the poor service and long waits made it hard to enjoy the meal

Arrived 20 minutes after my scheduled pick up time to find out it wasn’t ready. Stood around for 45 minutes with a group of other customers also waiting for their overdue orders. Staff behind the counter was like a deer in headlights. I’ll likely never be back.

Restaurant sucks and should consider selling or closing. Completely disorganized. No hostess, no taking names, no defined waitlist, people just grabbing open tables. Food was ordered - never came after 45 minutes. When inquiries were made 2 people said they only speak Spanish. Many tables / groups left after ordering because the food took too long to arrive. In summary a very poor unprofessional experience.

Ordered food for pick up at 4:05 pm on line. The website said it would be ready at 4:36. They called at 4:30 and said it wouldn’t be ready until 6 pm. They explained that the website is always wrong. It is 6:45 pm and the food is still not ready. I hope it is good.
Finally got the food at 7:30 pm. The restaurant added some extra dishes and a bottle of wine, which was nice. The food was still warm when we ate it and was very good.

The food is good but there is no customer service at all. No one to greet or seat you. Unfriendly servers. Nothing inviting from the atmosphere what so ever. Front counter is full of take out orders. No manager on premise. They should close the dining room and continue as a takeout restaurant. This is the 2 bd time I’ve tried dining there and both times were awful.
