First off, let me say that I first started visiting this restaurant in 1991, it was a hidden gem and the food was amazing.Fast forward 32 years, and while they moved to a new place down the road, the restaurant is still open. I've visited every few years, but have been back in about 10 years.I came for lunch and ordered the crab cake. It was delicious. The mashed potatoes were delicious. And my waitress was the same waitress from 32 years ago.My only issue was the wait, took a while to order and get the food. But sometimes good things are worth the wait.

I have been going to the Diner for many years. The quality of the food has always been very good. You must be willing to spend some money as the prices are high, but not any more than any place with consistently good food. Onion soup is as good as it gets. Service has always been friendly and prompt. Atmosphere is casual....after all it is a diner!

everything we had was worth 5 stars and the service was exceptional. Eric our server has been with Gourmet Diner for a long time and noticed that customers were hugging him on their way out. French onion soup was 2nd best I've ever had savory and Swiss cheesy (my top was made by my French chef brother in law Not in the business.) The escargot was a delicacy I ordered warm french bed to dip in the garlic butter sauce. We also had the brisket sandwich in the au jus was huge size of an entire French loaf baguette. We ended it with Belgian chocolate sundae.

If you like French cuisine you must go to this restaurant. The atmosphere is romantic, the place is very clean and you get greeted as soon as you walk in. The service is very enticing and the waiters are very attentive to your every need. The food is delicious with that delectable French touch. Every plate that we had was Devine. Their French Onion soup, OMG! The fresh made baguette with real butter-WOW. Duck with plum sauce- unreal. Also the Halibut was fantastic. Their portions are very generous and the prices are right. I will be visiting very often. You should give it a try.

I've been going to this establishment since the 80's. They've moved so many times, but stayed in the same area. Fantastic food, service in impeccable and the ambiance is simple and welcoming. A little bit of Belgium food when you miss it. Totally recommend this café.

I came in to dine with a friend, and we were immediately drawn to Donna's genuine and hospital service. She's knowledgeable, patient, personable, and very attentive. She recommended the Halibut and mussels, and they were the perfect choices. The second time we came to dine, we were met with the same, courteous, and attentive service. Eric and Donna are the best, and you must have the halibut! The third time we came to dine, we received wonderful service from Daniella and got a chance to greet Donna before she headed out for the evening. I once again got the halibut and added their delicious chicken soup, Greek salad, and liver for the table. This restaurant was the highlight of my work trip. I could not be happier and more satisfied after the exceptional food and service that I received.I shall return! Thank you!
