Le Rendez-vous has been a great French food option in Aventura for a bit more than ten years now. You can count on them for traditional French dishes and pastries. It's a simple location well kept, with friendly service. Their mussels with frites are delicious, also their terrines. I've also visited for breakfast which is very popular among the local residents.

Although we were the first people arriving at the restaurant, we were the last to be served. I felt that others got a preferential treatment like a group of French Canadians. We had to ask for water because it was never served to us. The foie gras was bland, and the desserts were stale. I was not impressed by the food either. We had lobster that came with a very small salad and we left the restaurant hungry. The service was horrible and the owner very rude. When my husband asked her to warm up a cold apricot tart, she said no.
There are plenty of good French restaurants in town. No need to repeat the bad experience.

While Le Rendez Bistro may offer French cuisine, the rude behavior of the owner significantly detracted from my overall experience. I hope they/she consider the importance of customer service, as it can make or break a restaurant. Until then, I may be hesitant to return or recommend it to others.

I read the reviews prior. They sounded good, but honestly, there’s absolutely nothing special about this restaurant. Definitely just average and the price is like a high-end restaurant. Late breakfast For two was $82 I asked for the eggs hard they came running like a river, it’s possible they didn’t understand. I ordered one pastry. It felt like just took it out of the fridge. It was apricot tart. I didn’t even finish it. Yeah, honestly, nothing special the potatoes they were so oily and old my wife Made a joke about the potatoes, I can’t even tell you the joke. Yeah, honestly, nothing special

Terrible place! I definitely do NOT recommend it! Only the bread was tasty, the fries were overcooked, the pasta was inedible with a terrible smell.. very bad and slowly service, although there were no other visitors except us.. wasted time and money

we got to this place by mistake but we were longing a coffee..
started with a coffee, no latte art, no pretensions, but the coffee was good.
then we had a couple of croissants that were cold but tasty and not old.
asked for Madeleines (as it’s a french cafe) but they didn’t know what it even was, hence they didn’t have.
the bathroom was clean
then had breakfast, the benedict’s, the crepe, and the scrambled eggs were all really good.
service was a bit slow.

I was invited by my friend, who is a regular at this quaint, small French restaurant located in a strip mall with other mom-and-pop spots in North Miami Beach.
They welcomed us with fresh French baguette slices and butter, which set a delightful tone for the evening.
There is only one server, and they do not check on you or refill your water unless you ask.
I decided to try the escargot and French onion soup, dishes I wouldn’t typically make at home.
While waiting, I enjoyed a glass of wine—just needed some olives and cheese to complete the experience!
The place is clean and cozy, seating about 25 people.
It wasn't that busy, there were a few table turnovers during the two hours we were there.
The portions that other guests ordered looked huge.
Their display case was filled with baked goods that were very tempting.
The French onion soup was flavorful, though a bit too salty and topped with more cheese than I preferred, making it hard to get to the broth.
The escargot, however, was a highlight—coated in fresh garlic, butter, and oil, it wasn’t fishy or chewy. It was light and perfect for dipping the fresh bread.
My friend had the seafood pasta, which was a huge portion. Unfortunately, I didn't like the mussels in the dish. The seafood tasted too fishy for my preference.
We finished the meal by sharing a thick and sweet chocolate torte, which was a lovely ending.
While I enjoyed the experience, my ankles swelled up at the end, so next time I’d opt for lighter fare. I would definitely return to explore more of their menu!
