Toku Modern Asian

My family and I went to Toku yesterday. We liked the service and the ambience, despite the high price. Unfortunately, I’ve been really sick since last night, just a few hours after eating at Toku.

Food is very mediocre across the board. Sushi is Publix takeout style , Kungpow chicken is reheated and no flavor besides salt and lots of it. Fish is not prep well. Had to send it back. Wife had stomach issues after that chicken. Atmosphere is nice but don’t go for the food. That’s why the bar is packed and the tables are empty. Martini was very strong, not subtle. Overall 🤦‍♀️

Yannis the greek server is off the charts amazing! The food is wonderful, the ambiance is nice and the price is fair and servings are generous!! Good for families and groups!

Fast service, even a little too fast… all dishes and starters served at the same time. Well it depends on the day. The cuisine is excellent and of good quality, with a varied menu. Major problem with only one brand of still water available in Fiji. The friendly waiter.

Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant on the ground floor, no stairs to access the restaurant.

Spent a fortune ordering on uber eats. Two chicken dishes about $100 - yet not even a side of white rice included. Food tastes good but cant believe for that $$ not even rice included. Also wheres the option for sides of spicy mayo / eel sauce for crispy tuna. Disappointed no rice!

Beautiful restaurant. Great service. The food did not match. We ordered the calamari for appetizer, obviously frozen, not prepared on site, and had no flavor. For my main I ordered the lobster risotto. This was not a risotto. The rice was undercooked, had a bit of a crunch to it, no cheese, and the stock was a watery tomato soup. The lobster was overcooked and chewey. Overall, it was a beautiful space, The people were great. The food was a big disappointment.

Pretty place with average food in my opinion. Feels like they focused a bit more in the decor than the food itself. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this place.

Mona was amazing with us! Her service was wonderful! Great experience, great views, great food. We are really happy to be part of this experience!
