Lazaro always makes us feel like family as soon as we arrive on the beach! We spent my mothers birthday here and Lazaro and Cecilia went out of their way to make her day special by bringing her beautiful red roses. They are incredible assets to the Ritz Carlton!

The beach accommodations were phenomenal at the Ritz! Dennis set us up with several umbrellas, chairs, covers, and towels. Gorgeous setting and impeccable service! We had a great time relaxing and there was everything we could ever need here.

Amazing experience at the Ritz Carlton Bal Harbour!!! Special shout-out to Lazaro, Dennis and Alex. Incredible gentlemen that provided some of the best service I've ever experienced. Beautiful property inside and out I have absolutely no complaints.

I’m writing this review at 2pm on a Thursday while laying here on the bed at the Carlton Bal Harbour beach and I am loving everything about this beach especially the whole team (Alessandro and Dennis) who are making my stay absolutely perfect. They take care of me and my comfort and although it’s super hot, I’m feeling super relaxed on this bed with an extra umbrella. Please please please try the frozen margarita (passion fruit) and enjoy the sea view and the sound of the waves!!! I will definitely be back. The bed is amazingly comfortable and you can definitely take a nap here. I feel like I’m dreaming!!

This is a very clean hotel on the beach. Relative to some other hotels on the beach such as Trump Interntional not too far away, this is much cleaner hotel. The room is very modern and clean also. The bathroom is beautiful. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. So I had a good time here. The only reason I am not giving it a five star is that I was told there is only one restaurant in the hotel. and there is hardly a restaurant outside near the beach (it is only a small booth, kind of).

We went to the pool bar while our friend was getting a birthday spa service followed by some beach time. The support staff was absolutely incredible and ensured we had the best time today. Thank you to Daniel(bartender), Cecilia (ballon and makeup magician by the pool), and lastly Dennis was incredibly warm, kind and made sure we had the best beach experience. Thank you so much for making it a wonderful day for us!

Here is what you expect to hear: Ritz Carlton....? Where, how? Yes the building that comprises the 100 rooms of the Ritz Carlton is actually NOT ocean facing, but rather ocean view, and mostly with direct view of Haulover beach as well as the ocean to the side. The location is somewhat dated, certainly very dark, meaning it was dimly lit throughout, and there is in fact work being done (at this moment) that made relaxing, dining, and attempting to enjoy a peaceful experience somewhat challenging. Decor in the rooms is somewhat dated and could use a lively refresh of sorts, as well as some additional lighting options The food options are mainly one location, the Artisan Beach House, where the service is attentive, courteous, and prompt, the food is delicious, and the view is superb. These are some reasons why a facility should warrant 3-4 stars out of 5, and my review is for 4 stars for the reasons I mentioned above. My review offers a slightly different approach to this resort, as it typically does to everything else I experience in life..... with a grain of salt, and maybe followed by a shot of 1800. This facility is ideally situated on the inlet of the ocean and intercostal, at Haulover beach. I would advise everyone, everywhere, and all times..... DO YOUR RESEARCH before booking. Yes, limited food options, especially if you are traveling over the weekend throughout the week, and would like to eat at locations other than "Artisans Beach House" on a Sunday and Monday. Like many food establishments, closing on a Monday is typical so again, do your research for dining locations before you come, and decide to be disappointed when leaving bad reviews because certain locations (outside the hotel) are not open. The hotel is clean, smells great, and seemingly all staff members there were present the same day the customer service class was being taught. All the team members are gracious, kind, and do what they can to accommodate your requests with a smile. That right there folks is 90% of hospitality service in a nutshell. Regarding other comments you read like water leaking from the shower, thin bathrobes, bad views, stains, etc. Yes.. this is Florida, and there are people responsible for ensuring the upkeep, and maintenance of these facilities. I mentioned that people are there to do the work, right? NOT ROBOTS, not AI- YET. So like most people, we are not perfect, and there is no such thing as perfection, even at the Ritz Carlton. Just because your perception does not meet the reality, doesn't always mean that reality is not trying its hardest, and doing its best to meet every guests perceptions, and expectations as best as possible. Again.... hospitality is not a perfect science, and definitely not an easy task to make everyone happy all the time! The staff at the RCBH do their best, and they deliver on the premise of ensuring their guests enjoy a first class experience in one of the most prestigious, and pretentious locations in South Florida. Bottom line, this is a fantastic place. You should understand the price point before booking and posting negative reviews about the costs of items. The maintenance and decor updating is a separate matter that should always be addressed in order for the staff to acknowledge your observations, and comments. Again, if you dont say anything they cant do anything about it. A negative review on a public, social platform like this is not the best method through which maintenance, and special requests should be aired. Where I do agree with other guests comments is at the beach. The beach service, lounges, and umbrella service, ends at 6PM. Now why is this? Does that mean that after 6PM the guests of the RCBH must bring their own seating? There are certain rules and laws that are natural, and rational based on merit, function, and safety, but if there is no real reason why they roll up all the service at 6PM, then in this is a true example of where "providing service to your guests" seems to be overlooked. I can see past all the other little things, and yes, when you

We stayed for a week, and chose this property over the nearby St. Regis because it appeared to have better reviews. I've stayed at Ritz-Carlton properties all over the globe, and the staff here were just as excellent as I'd expect. The property is shared with residences, and each tower only has two rooms. You exit from the elevator and you're in a pretty small, maybe 50 square foot entryway to your room and your neighbor's. PROPERTY CONDITION The reason for the docked stars is — the property is extremely dated, and is really showing its age. The lobby itself is fine, but where it matters — the rooms — is where you'll feel it. The carpets are matted down and dilapidated, the beds have pillow tops that are really "broken in" (so you sink at the edge, and it's very stiff), the lighting is very poor, and the entryway to the room was musty. We were near the top of the tower and the view was nice, and there was not much noise at all. The bathroom was clean. On the second day, they dropped off the diptyque bath amenities that the Ritz-Carlton brand recently switched to (in North America, at least). For some reason those weren't in the room on day one, and we assumed they were using another brand, so we didn't think to ask. BEACH Beach service was great, but a bit slow due to the logistics. It’s a far walk from the shore to the restaurant and extremely hot this time of year, so we did not mind the wait at all. The ceviche, tacos and mocktails were great. The beach itself was clean but there was a ton of seaweed lining the shore, and in the water. STAFS Emelie checked us in and checked us out and she was excellent. Lana, Isaac and Anthony at the beach were excellent. Juan was our server for affogato in the lobby (complimentary) and Artisan Beach House, one of the restaurants on the property. The food was fresh and tasty, just a bit slow there despite us being the only ones in the restaurant. Valet was also great. SPA The spa is run by exhale, which uses mindbody for its reservation system. Their mobile site was close to unusable, and I build websites for a living - so if I'm struggling, others are probably not booking at all. On desktop, it was a bit better. The spa massage was decent, but the condition of the spa was atrocious. The locker rooms were not clean, the lockers didn't lock at all (I tried 8 different lockers to no avail - the buttons on the keypad were unresponsive). The rooms were on the warmer side and not individually climate controlled. The only pristine portion of the spa was the shop - which included skincare, hair care, beachwear, etc. Gratuity is automatically applied when you check out, I believe at 18%, and you are able to bill service to your room. This spa does not belong in a Ritz-Carlton property. The staff there were all great, but the owner is failing to make necessary reinvestments. It is a shame. CHARGES No surprise items on my bill, which often happens during longer stays. Valet is $50 per day, and the other incidentals were billed as expected. If you book with Marriott, your room rate, taxes, and resort fee would have been included in your original reservation's total. ELITE STATUS I have Marriott Platinum Elite status and didn't experience any "special" perks or treatment other than the free enhanced Wi-Fi, which you get with gold and up. The Ritz-Carlton does not offer free breakfast to Bonvoy members regardless of status, but the St. Regis does for platinum and up. Supposedly the property does not guarantee late checkout to platinum members, it's subject to availability. We were told there was no availability for late checkout at 11:15 because our floor was booked and the guests had already arrived (despite check in being several hours later). COMPARISON TO OTHER RITZ-CARLTON PROPERTIES The Ritz-Carlton, Orlando Grande Lakes makes this place look like a Holiday Inn, in terms of the state of the property. In terms of condition, it is abysmal by comparison, and compared to their resorts overseas, this property doe

We had a fantastic day at the Ritz pool in Bal Harbour on our final day in Florida, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Ein. Ein was incredibly knowledgeable and gracious, going above and beyond to ensure our experience was top-notch. He shared valuable information that we were unaware of, and his hospitality has left a lasting impression. We will definitely be returning, all thanks to Ein. Thank you for your outstanding hospitality, Ein :)

Amazing service and hospitality! My boyfriend and i went to the beach today and were assisted by Lazaro, Dennis, and Nicolas, who were great! They had us set up in our day bed in no time and were super alert and on top of everything.

We arrived late on a Tuesday night and left early on a Friday morning. Yet we had to pay a full day resort fee for Tuesday and Friday as well as full day valet parking services. Before leaving, I asked to speak to a manager about these charges and was given an email address. I never received a return email. I went as far as writing the general manager, and called several times, all without success. For an expensive facility, I was dismayed by the ticky tack charges, and the lack of customer responsiveness.
