This is the best bbq around. We tried it one time in August and have been back because it was soooooo gooooooood!

We always stop at Holy Smokes Texas BBQ when we are near Bishop to buy a rack or ribs and a pounds of brisket. In 3 years their prices have only slightly increased but they have kept their high quality. The ribs are meaty and tender and the brisket was moist and tender.. Last Sunday I was glad I called in our to go order because there was a LONG line of people waiting outside to order!

We tried a new route and happened upon the old Holy Smoke Restaurant that has changed to Cousin Willies Smokehouse. The food was delicious and the owners could not have been nicer.

Got the 3 meat combo. The pork was very tender & moist with very good flavor. The brisket was not as tender but good. Chicken was tasty but the skin could have been a bit crispier! Over all good dinner at a great price. Worth a stop if you are in the area. Service was acceptable, they only had one waitress and she was nice & polite.

Huge portions of great food! Loved the bbq sandwich, loaded with meat. My buddy got a turkey club that was 4 inches thick! The owner and his wife were very friendly and engaging. Worth the drive from Jax.

I'm a local. This is a favorite for dinner or lunch. Good portion sizes, good prices, great owners. Lots of parking. Easy access from the highway.

This was a good place for a quick bite. The staff was friendly and very attentive. I had the ribs. They were good, but not falling off the bone good. They were just ok- good. The bbq sauce was also ok- good. My husband had the 3 meats. Ribs, chicken, and sausage. It was all good, but a bit dry.
