The food was delicious. The prices were cheaper than McDonald's and the food was so much better
I can't tell you how very much I enjoyed every bit of this restaurant. The food was especially delicious, the service was impeccable ( Tanya and Adli deserve a raise so sweet) and the atmosphere was good old fashion southern country kitchen style. I would recommend everyone eat here at least...oh I don't know, everyday, breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Great value for BBQ! Don’t miss the fried pickles, smokehouse burger, sliced pork plate, and the homey atmosphere! We always have a great experience at Akins. The food is served promptly and I haven’t ordered something I haven’t liked yet. I do wish they had more interesting sides available. Their fries are amazing. And as simple as it is, the side salad is pretty good. Their homemade ranch is too.
DON’T get the cheesecake unless you like solid cream cheese…

OMG This is BEST place that we have eaten at since getting to Florida!!!!! Everything was so clean and organized. The food was absolutely AMAZING! The steak was cooked perfect and so juicy and tender the mashed potatoes where creamy and I absolutely loved the green beans. I would highly recommend eating here! The waitress was amazing and so sweet excellent service. The atmosphere gave a beautiful down home country feel. It won't break the bank having and amazing dinner here either!

The St Louis ribs were tough and chewy. The onion straws were actually a cheap onion ring and you got a small little bowl of them and they seem to be undercooked. For my first time going here they did not make it one of the places I plan on looking forward to going to and don't know when I will go back.
