The new banyan tree is great. The hostess/waitress does an awesome job. She's a super hard worker. Very very grateful for their customers. So glad they opened back up. The best soul food around. Old Florida food and Belle Glade staple.
Banyan Tree is classic soul food The sweet potatoes tasted like they had just been picked from someone's garden. I'm vegetarian but will definitely eat there again. My son loved it too.
Customer service weighs a lot with me because I've worked in customer service for years. The food was better at the old location on Avenue L. This new location and new workers could use a tune up or another training.
