Just seeing the “open” sign at 11am made me smile! From memory of a previous visit, I knew that I would be welcomed warmly and treated like royalty as my friend and I enjoyed real home cooked Cuban-Puerto Rican food. Whatever name you want to attach…THE TASTE IS AWESOME!! The Tripleta sandwich with yucca fries on the side was SO tasty.I took home an order of mufongo with onions and steak/onions….I put it in my air fryer for dinner and poured the mojo that accompanied it on just after reheating. Exquisite❤️What a labor of love these restauranteurs provide!

We are not from the area, but whenever we come to Silver Springs State Park we always gather our volunteer friends and make a dinner date here. Called ahead to let them know we were a group of 10 for a Friday dinner. When we arrived, table was set and marked reserved. Highly recommend as
food and service are always exceptional and very reasonably priced.

Quiet atmosphere with a small dining area, perfect for conversation. Great food- the best empanadas in Belleview and pretty good Cuban sandwiches. Definitely give it a try!

Food was terrible, seemed like they keep it in the freezer for weeks and heat it up to serve. Extremely over priced. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
1st timer- The tamarind slushy was absolutely delicious. The Mofongo with a chicken broth was exceptionally delicious with big chunks of savory garlic. The rice was perfect and the black beans had a little sweetness to them. I wasn’t expecting. We’re gonna try the trace Chase. My husband and I will definitely be coming back to explore their menu…

The low rating is because of the food. The food was not very good. The rice and red beans tasted nasty and old. I went home to throw it up. Sorry to be so graphic but I do not recommend this place. I am not leaving the review to jeopardize the place, but to try to help them give fresh food, cook better, or change it up. We spent $98 on two adults and two kids. We do not drink and did not order anything expensive. Just awful experience.

We just left this spot, I can only say this is espectacular food, ambience is very nice, a very clean place; we have been to Columbia and is really hard to understand how they've managed to stay in business for so long when the food is not even close to the quality of Chicken Time. If you want delicious food in a great ambience, Don't miss out! This is the place to visit.

Have been patronizing this restaurant since 2018. Always great until last 2 visits and it was pretty awful. Apparently, they have changed cooks.
Rope Viejo was served in a bowl like soup. Black beans had no flavor.
My sister and I had a late lunch here today. The food was exquisitely good. I had the mofongo with fried meat and she had the mofongo with chicken. We share both dishes, but I could not decide which one I like better because both were amazing. The service was great and very quiet. I also had a café con leche (Spanish latte) and it was great, hot and not bitter at all. Overall we had a great experience and will return when we are in town. Highly recommended for those looking for Spanish cuisine. ❤️.
