Flying Boat Tap Room LLC

After three visits to Flying Boat Tap Room at the insistence of my less frugal friends—I’ve consistently felt the same way: the food is above average (except the rice), uniquely presented, and enjoyable, but still not worth the premium price. The overall value doesn’t add up for me, and it falls short from a cost-benefit perspective. It’s a nice place if price isn’t a concern, but not a spot I’d personally pick.

They have a very good selection of beer and ciders, plus everybody was very friendly. We ordered an appetizer and dinners, the smoked fish dip left much to be desired. We had fish tacos and jerk chicken sandwich, the fish tacos were good but the jerk chicken, though moist and tasty, did not have any spiciness to it like jerk chicken is supposed to. Craft breweries are more about the beer and less about the food, and they excel in that department

This is a really nice taproom! Large selection of varied beer 28 beers on tap, and 107 in bottles and cans. Great service! I had a pizza and it was really good. I'll be in town for a couple days and I plan to go back. 🍻

I actually had a nice time. Stopped in this afternoon because I woke up and chose violence. Came here and got an attitude adjustment. Very friendly people. I will be back. And they have people in onesies. I love a good onesie

This is a great hangout with even better food! The small plates are worth every dime. We had muscles, meatballs, chorizo queso with chips, and great beer. This is a tap room so many different kinds of beers and they do serve flights in case you cannot decide. The pizza looks great, and the salads are made to order and a large portion. It is a bit expensive, but again worth the stop. They do have music outside on the patio in the weekends...wasn't too loud in or out, so could easily have a good time while still having a conversation at your table.

After splurging with my mother while she has expressed wanting a blue cheese, crumble salad from your establishment for quite some time and being able to contact you because of her discomfort and dislike of the portion and confusion on her order,we have returned and have been treated wonderful by Kelsey!! They knew my mother by name, going above and beyond to make my mother’s experience one of a kind.. I am beyond grateful and will always be a patron of the The Flying Boat tap!!!

Awesome selection of craft beer (especially sours and smoothie sours which was amazing) and amazing flatbread. Staff were attentive but created a very relaxed and welcoming environment. Awesome place!

We had an excellent lunch here. We had the smoked Mexican corn dip and the parmesean tater tots for appetizer. Both were delicious! Then I had the black and blue burger, which was wonderful. One buddy had the grilled chicken hot honey Sammie while the other had the burger with the pulled pork on top. Both said they really enjoyed it. 😊 I've been here just a few times and this meal has been my favorite. We all enjoyed our choice of beer as well!

What a great find! Fast and friendly service (thanks Kevin!), delicious food, and one of the best beer menus we’ve seen. Plenty of seating indoors and outside with a casual, laid back vibe. Definitely worth it after our round at the Ocala Greenway!
