Mary's Place

This is in a motel, it smells horrible outside and you have to park in front of motel rooms that people live in and have personal ring cameras that announce they are recording you. We got this older waitress who kept touching us and slurred her words. They’re out of a lot of items including grits and gravy. Our order took forever and then came out wrong. My husbands burger came out with maybe 7 fries. The other reviews that state of you’re not a regular you get crap service is right. Honestly the waitress was the worst part, at one point we joked she was actively ignoring us, she would say she would be right with us and then sit down at another table full of people and talk. Just awful.

This is a hometown staple establishment. It's where I had breakfast the first time I went with my husband and his family on a trip to Tampa. Today I got home fries and bacon and it was made to order. The staff is wonderful and I love they know me and our family. My food was hot and served quickly. Checking out, the table we stood by reminded me of the first-time I was there 18 years ago.

Loyal regular customer, last two trips here were not to good, food was terrible, dry stale biscuits, burnt hash, over cooked eggs, cold stale toast... I suspect it's got to be a new cook? Ashamed has been a great place for a long time for a good meal, love the servers here but I'm gonna take a break from here for a while, maybe they will get the problem fixed someday.

Well, needless to say we wont be coming back.
The kitchen has gone to the dogs..
We used to come every week, had several bad meals, took a 2 week break , they are back at experimenting on customers with cooks and sub par quality.
I had a bad omlette a few weeks back for not being cooked all the way, 3 times now we havent been able to eat together because things have had to be sent back.
Today 9=29-24 my wife got served refrigerator cold shepards pie ( the special) so when that went back we got attude! Then i took a few bites of my omlette, had a fish tinge from either off the grill, or cheese or ham stored in a walk in cross contamination tastes..
Then big girl got some major attitude and we left..
To bad, we were dedicated customers who always tip well.
We liked the folks that frequented the restaurant...
3 bad meals, then throw on attitudes and done..theres a ton of others restaurants more consistent..

Their homemade breakfast is the best around! A Belleview legacy! Been around for decades and once you go there you will understand why! Home like atmosphere and the waitresses are phenomenal!
