I enjoyed going to opus until my last experience, a couple buddy's and I went in a couple weeks ago for some drinks and to play some pool. We waited at the bar for atleast 20 min for the bartender Jenn to serve us some drinks but instead she was flirting with a customer and attending to his drinks instead of making sure everyone at the bar had drinks. When she finally decided to get back to work she proceeded to shout " I run this place" as I laughed and stated "none of us have gotten any service". We were regulars. By the time we got our drinks the atmosphere and vibe were ruined.

If you need a billiard table - go elsewhere. The tables are broken down with stains and filth on all of them. If you are a non-smoker, you will not like the smokey bar and pool room.

The service is always spot on, short if any wait time. the tables are great. Every now and then you get an over friendly rather drunk person that wants friends trying to hang around but that's just one if the things that's not the establishments
Most times they have loud music playing and they have 5 pool tables

They can very quiet or they get slammed from 10pm to 2am. If you come there late there is no pool tables open they maintain their equipment etc. Genetically they get very very good.

Friendly atmosphere, nice pool tables. Not so great sticks tho and the cue ball kept getting stuck in the table. Drinks not made consistently, ordered same drink on different days and two different colors

Wife and I have visited Opus serval times over the course of the last year. Prices are good and its a convenient place to hang out for locals. My last visit was a nightmare, however. When I went to cash out my tab, the bartender notified me that she had, cashed someone else's tab out with my card and gave my card to them. I was told not to worry about my tab. Well, its a good thing, since my card was now gone, how was I suppose to pay? Problem is, someone else's tab was charged to my card. By the time I could contact my bank 3 other charges were on my card too, while we were still in the bar. My card was given away around 30 minutes after we arrived, by looking at the times it was used and we were there for 3-1/2 hours playing pool. I've never had my card given to another customer in my entire life. But, I can see how someone could get your card even if it wasn't directly given to them by bartender, as non-employees were constantly behind the bar, in the register area. This should not be happening and I hope this review puts an end to that practice. I still gave it 2 stars because the other times we have been there, were good times and other bartenders were nice and attentive. Unfortunately, all it took was one bartender I've never seen before, taking shots while she worked, to put a bad taste in my mouth on what can happen here. Now, I have to fight with the bank with disputed charges and setting up a new card. Still, for the most part, a decent place to hang out. Just be very careful of who and where your debit/credit card goes. Cash as you go, would be a better option than just plunking your card down for a tab. Don't let what happen to me, happen to you.Debating if we will ever return after this last incident. That is about the worst thing a bartender can do to a customer in my opinion. That's a massive mistake! I can look past a few mistakes now and then, but damn.......
