Thieves... l was told on the phone my order total was 22.67. When l got there to pick up my pizza l was charged 28.47. This is straight up theft, when l questioned it l was told the other price was if you paid cash. I was not told anything but the total of 22.67 when l gave them my card over the phone. It is not only unethical but illegal to arbitrarily charge more to a credit card without permission.. the pizza is ok.. not extraordinary but edible.

Thieves, Liars or Both... I was told my bill was 22.67 when I ordered and paid over the phone with my credit card. When I got my receipt to sign, I was charged 28.47. When I said something to the girls at the desk I was told that was a cash only price. I said that when I asked what I was being charged on my card I was told 22.67 and that is what I was expecting to see on my credit card receipt. They said it was too bad that is what it cost. I have no problem paying for what I ordered I do have a problem with a restaurant that feels they can freely charge a credit card what they want. We as consumers trust these people to do the right thing when we order from their places of business. I am appalled at the business practices of this restaurant. The pizza was ok.. not outstanding but they have lost my business because of trustworthiness. I will be going to the better businness bureau and the city of Big Pine Key. I know it is only 4.00 but think of all the people they are randomly charging extra to their cards. Shame on you and your business practices.

After consuming the pizza, both my partner and I experienced stomach discomfort, leaving us feeling uneasy. Although I've had a decent order from Driftwood Pizza Express in the past, this recent experience has led me to the decision that the price is not justified by the product.For those seeking a more professional and worthwhile pizza option in the area, I recommend checking out Coast to Coast Pizza in Marathon as an alternative.

I’ve ordered from Driftwood a few times for delivery. Typically the delivery time is fast and the pizza is fresh. Today, I decided to skip the pizza and try the veggie calzone.. I placed my order and it took well over an hour 15+ minutes to get it delivered. I almost called because the text alert I received for expected delivery time was ~25 minutes. Upon delivery the calzone was cold.. the onion, tomato, and peppers were still hard like barely cooked. It was awful. I took 2 bites and threw it away. Extremely disappointed for the price.
