Stopped in this small out of the way coffee house. What a lovely surprise! I can only drink decaf and find it hard to get a good decaf espresso drink. Well the drinks were delicious and so was the food. I ordered the avocado toast with an egg on top. The red pickled onions and balsamic glaze compliments the creamy avocado and hearty toast so well! If you enjoy flavorful drinks and food this is a must stop when in the area!

Hey Calhoun Coffee Co. I’m sharing my honest feedback here. I walked in and there was no one else waiting just two ladies working behind the counter. The space is very cute and very clean. I ordered a large honey latte for myself and a hot chocolate for my daughter. They explained unfortunately they did not have any more hot chocolate. I suggested chocolate syrup with steamed milk. They said “oh yeah sure we could do that” …. Waited 10 minutes, by this time other folks had come in and ordered and I watched them begin the other orders before they even started mine and my daughters… I wasn’t in a hurry at all. But I asked if they had received our order maybe the receipt was lost or something, they said yes we received it, then she literally stopped what she was doing with the dirty Alani‘s another guest had ordered and started making my daughter’s hot chocolate. Walking so slowly around back-and-forth behind the counter to the back room I mean, slow slow, all of her movements were exaggeratedly slow. A lady came in and picked up a to-go order of drinks which were already ready. So, maybe this is just my opinion. Baristas typically operate quickly and are hired to do so. By this point there were approx six other customers inside. I got my coffee and hot chocolate after approx 15-20 minutes. Got to the car tried the coffee. The flavor of the coffee is delicious. It’s lucky goat, but there was no sweetener added as I requested. Which we conversed about, I requested 3 tablespoons of honey. I had originally asked how much sweetener is typically added to a large she said “five”. I hate leaving poor reviews. Management needs to be aware though, they needed some training hopefully it’s just as simple as that.

I stopped into this small hometown coffee shop for a meeting with my boss, and it was such a pleasant surprise. The staff were genuinely friendly and made the whole place feel warm and welcoming. The seating is super comfortable—cozy enough that you feel like you’re relaxing in someone’s living room rather than a business.
I’m not actually a coffee drinker, so I ordered a small hot chocolate, and it was absolutely delicious. Rich, smooth, and made with care. This is definitely the kind of local spot you want to support. I’ll be back for sure!
