Fiddler’s Steamhouse & Oyster Bar

Was my Birthday. We had 10 people. They were great! Food was excellent, service was excellent, atmosphere was excellent. They served the Birthday cake that my aunt brought and gave me a piece of their cake. Highly recommend!!!

Oyster bar , no oyster bar here to Texas microwaves oyster Rockefeller let alone does it in front of customers …… never in my life of living on the coast have I been served microwaved oysters until now ! Never again

Grown up on the coast all of my life , have never experienced at any “famous oysters bar “ what I experienced here , shortly after being told by the waiter she was preparing my oysters , I heard the beep of a microwave by the waiters station , then out pops a dozen oysters when she opened it …. Never in my life have I ordered famous oysters for them to be cooked in a microwave ….. Oyster Rockefeller should never be microwaved and served to customers …..

Had fried scallops and corn nuggets. Very good. Service was excellent.

If you are within 100 miles of this place. You need to try it. We were wanting a good fish dinner. I ordered the flaky fish grilled, seasoning was perfect. The girls ordered the same fried. Perfectly fried white flaky fish. Dustin ordered a combo. The staff were the friendliest happiest bunch. Phenomenal food a very great all around experience.

We drove from an hour away to get oysters but were out of them so might as well eat anyways. The waitresses was great but when u order fried mullet and get mouth full of scales it makes for bad meal and when I brought it to the attention of the cashier I still ended up paying for a meal I couldn’t eat it was never offered to be taken off bill and I still tipped the waitress!

Cheese curds!!! Huge serving, would probably be enough for 4 to 6 people. Burgers are good and baked potatoes are fresh. The kids and seniors menu is a good deal. Grilled grouper and a baked potato, add a side salad and iced tea for less than $14.

Pros:

✅Wide, chunky cut lemons - makes it easier to squeeze on seafood

✅Front door parking for combat veterans

Cons:
🥗 Would like to have a Caesar salad, or Caesar dressing as an option for a house salad
🧀 Offer a smaller serving of cheese curds as an alternative to fries or other sides

Stopped here during a rest stop on our way to Panama City. Our home was in the direct route of hurricane Milton and we had no where to go with our 3 dogs Tuesday afternoon Oct. 8th.

No hotels would take us in Tallahassee, our dogs got car sick and threw up in the back seat, we had been on the road fighting traffic, no gas at stations and had to drive another 2 hours to Panama City beach to an air bnb that welcomed our dogs.

I was sitting in the booth thinking about how hard I worked my entire life to be able to buy a home in Bradenton Fl. And retire. Everything I owned is in my home. Now, the possibility of Milton hitting it just made me sit in this booth and cry.

The manager and server both gave me a hug and you know it made me feel so much better. They were both so kind and generous. Both were angels on earth. My heart felt thanks to these angels who helped me get over a moment of sadness.

We were blessed to come home to minimal damage. However, our friends and neighbors were not so lucky. My heart goes out to them.
