I’m a transplanted NYer, big surprise in SE Florida. I’m 74 and have smoked fish and bagels at least 40 of the 52 Sundays! In my humble opinion, the quality of the smoked fish at Bagel Works in Boca is by far the best we’ve found! I refer to Bagel Works as the Russ & Daughters of Florida!!! Incredibly high quality fish of the highest order! We did a spread sheet and did a comparison of all the bagel shops in a 5 mile radius, no comparison! Thank you Mike and your whole team!!!

I really don’t know how to explain this. Other than facts, just the facts. I was in the restaurant this morning from 8-9:15. Only 2 girls had been working and keeping the customers happy and satisfied. Diana and Alley! When David brought a handful of menus and tossed them near the toaster. He didn’t say anything to either of the waitresses, and neither of them saw him toss them. They were in the way. Diana took them and put them under the counter. David noticed they weren’t where he tossed them and asked where were they. Alley didn’t know what he was referring to. Dianna said she put them under the counter. He began to YELL at her. how do you put them there with coffee on them. She attempted to respond to him, he turned his back and walked Way from her. That was unkind. Thoughtless knowing how short handed the business was this morning. There were a number of ways that could have been handled. Numerous customers at the counter saw it. heard it and had conversations about it. Diana did not deserve to be treated that way. Where is the appreciation for what she had been doing all morning. Why not ask the bus boy who had been standing there to do what needed to be done. The girls were very busy. Diana and Alley was your support this morning. Kindness means much more these days, than it ever has. Appreciate those who show up for you and have your back!! As you know from how your business started today, employees like these two young ladies are hard to find. What was witnessed this morning, was far from what it should have been. I hope …..you think next time before lashing out at the one who had your back

First visit and loved it. We ordered the egg salad with a salted bagel and the reuben. Both were perfect. We sat at the counter. Our server was on it and with a great welcoming personality. We will be back.
Service was bad. She forgot my some of my orders. I did not mind that but she never said sorry. And the order took forever.

Ordering take out from this place is always such a disappointment. When you go in person everything is so fresh and beautiful but when you order take out they just throw whatever they can find on the plate as if they are annoyed that you are ordering take out. The first time I did they sent me a bacon egg and cheese bagel with only one piece of the bagel so really it was an open faced sandwich EVEN AFTER I CALLED THEM TO ENSURE THERE WOULD BE NO MISTAKES. NOW, I just ordered again to see if maybe that was just a rushed day and they might’ve just forgotten and they just sent me a bunch of burn French fried with everything bagels that have nothing on them so more like “nothing bagels”. I asked for my eggs over medium they made it over hard and they added more than the requested bacon so now it’s just a bacon bagel with burnt French fries. I put explicit and CAPITALIZED words with clear instructions and they still couldn’t follow them.
To the business and the staff, if you do not care for having the presentation on take out dishes be the same as your dishes in home PULL your business out of the delivery services where you have made it available that way people know this is the kind of place where you are forced to go in person and eat your food in the store or just order it to go but IN PERSON. Every time I get food from this place I am always so excited but the two times I have ordered take out have been huge disappointments.
