Bagelworks, more like BagelJerks.
I went in to buy a bagel. There were a few people in front of me. Behind the counter was chaos. One conter guy finished an order of someone who was obviously his friend, he spent time talking to him and slapping him five while we waited. No big deal.
But then al three people there to take orders had their backs turned to us and paid us no attention.
Then the phone rang and one guy came to answer it. He was an older employee with tattoos all over his arms.He is taking a long time to take the order and it's getting frustrating. We were waiting (me and a decorated Korean War hero in front of me) and he couldn't take our order, but the phone rang and he dropped everything like we were invisible. Note: We were not invisible.
After he was taking that order for a few minutes, the other genteman and I were getting increasingly frustrated. I finally said "This is rdiculous." The guy on the phone BARKED at me. We are busy. We got a big Uber order. I said. We were here before the phone rang but you had no problem taking that order. We were here first and are human beings right in front of you. He BARKS again, who are you Uber? I said, No, I'm Keith. I am a customer and you shouldn't talk to me that way. He grumbled at me some more, got back on the phone and I walked out. He did not desrve my business.

My first time there, and I loved it. It has an old school diner feel. Staff was super friendly, food served quick. Big portions, and tasted great.

My coffee cup had lipstick on it, and the next one had coffee grinds. Silverware looked dirty too. I won't be back. Then I saw they were shut down in 2024 for roaches. Isn't cleanliness an important thing to train your employees on? Guess not, or you pay them so low, they could care less. Not for me. I'm out. The bagels and potatoe's are better at Long Island bagels also.

What a find, stumbled on to this place by chance. True Bagel Bakery, loved it.
We have been coming here for years. We appreciate the breakfast special, as well as lunch, salads etc. Best Rye Bread. We tip according to what the breakfast would cost. Most often for breakfast we tip $5.00 Today first time the waitress/server kept the change from total. It’s me, but I find that rude. Therefore, she didn’t get a $5., tip This is not a compliment, it is a statement. Have a great day !!

Very rude staff that work here, specifically the hostess’s the older woman and the older man. They are also extremely slow. The food is not so great. Orders are usually wrong or missing items. Their hours are always different (I have been there several times when it opens and they will open 30-40 minutes late). They have had a lot of concerning food violations recently. I avoid this place like the plague now.

Service rated 4 not 5 because most of the time the staff are doing the job but they're not happy.
The food has consistently gone down hill. Recently got some everything bagels. If everything means tiny specs of things, then yes these are everything.
I didn't complain the last few times giving them time and the benefit of the doubt.
What really put me off and drove me to this review is the $1 upcharge for a flagel. Which, if you don't know, is a bagel that has been smushed. Same bagel, just 2 seconds extra to press it down. Okay.....
