Amazing food, amazing service and amazing prices. The fried icecream is a must. The servers are incredibly friendly.
We lived in Texas for 3 years & had much good Tex-Mex food. This is a Terrible Tex-Mex restaurant and I would NEVER go back here. There is much better Tex-Mex food at Calaveras Cantina & and Ahtziri Mexican Grill in Boca.
Our business is local & we enjoyed our visit today. Dakotah took care of our table & he made sure we had everything we needed. Food is excellent and we can not wait to see the new remodel of the place coming next year. Excited to have #breakfast #lunch #dinner so close to walk.
I used to absolutely love this place. My husband and I had our first date here 5 years ago so it’s been special to us. But they changed owners and the restaurant has suffered. Our portions are half the size. The chips came in a small red basket you see at carnivals which was like a quarter of the chips they usually give. They haven’t updated or cleaned up any of the walls or floors or structure. There was a table that was next to us that was dirty when we sat down, and it was still dirty when we left after dinner. There was no one else in the restaurant. It’s such a shame.
Consumer Beware!I got my bill today and it was $145. 4 out of the 5 meals we ordered was the 2 tacos meal so I thought $145 cant be right.Of course when I go to look at the itemized receipt, there was not one giving to me. (Im pretty sure they purposely did this). Why do I think this, because when I asked for the itemized receipt they had the tip already included. You can see below, the receipt to the left is all they gave me.Most people would simply put a tip in and leave. If it wasn’t for the price being so high I would of never asked for one and did the same thing. Then when you ask for an itemized receipt, they try to trick you again; the suggested tip amounts at the bottom of the receipt (you can see below on the right) is based on the amount $145.43 which already has an 18% tip included.I work in the payment processing space and this is just wrong on all levels. I suggest you change your shady business tactics before you loose more customers.I almost left an additional $30 tip so our waiter would have got $50+ Tip for a $116 meal. This is why I think they don’t give you an itemized receipt to begin with, it would compromise their ability to scam their customers.
Very close to Mizner Park. Great Shrimp fajitas and Shredded Beef Tacos! The Salsa was the super delicious. The best I've had in a long time, with finely chopped garlic and onions, not too spicy. Very cute Mexican decor and good service. Go out and support this small business, you will be happy you did.
Small brightly decorated Mexican restaurant serving up plenty of drink specials and Mexican food favorites.Visited on a Sunday evening, the restaurant was not busy at all. There was two tables with diners outside, and inside was empty. Our waitress was friendly, however she did not make any recommendations when told this was our first time dining there.Food was mediocre at best. Street corn was ok. Chicken Ensenada Enchiladas, Baja Fish Tacos was just ordinary. Steak and Shrimp Ranchero had good sauce, but chewy steak pieces. All entrees came with Mexican rice that was dry and black beans that was just average. With service that was nothing out of the ordinary, there is really nothing that would entice us to return, based on this visit.
Our server Shanique was very nice and professional. The food was okay. But the drinks were extremely disappointing. I ordered the most expensive margarita and it came in a juice glass, no salt and an imperceptible amount of alcohol - despite claiming to have the highest quality tequila and Cointreau. Hard to understand why you wouldn’t at least use normal glasses. We would have more than one round if they were at least the basic margaritas.
2-stars because the server was great. This great little place has gone downhill over the past 18 months. My sister and I visited two weekends ago, and the only positive thing I can say is that we had a lovely server who was kind to us and felt badly for having to return our cold food and unfrozen drinks. I've been chatting up this place to my sister who is from North Florida. I finally had the opportunity to take her. We wanted frozen house margaritas. We were served two glasses of what looked like cloudy water with a couple of inches of crushed iced (see photo). I asked the server if our drinks looked frozen, and she politely agreed they did not, and offered to have them refrozen. Whoever was behind the counter threw them back in the blender and returned them to our server. What you see in the photo is what we got the second time, and they were awful. We asked for a basket of chips and Chili Con Queso. The chips and salsa arrived first, and it took 12 minutes to receive the Queso and when it arrived it was lukewarm and tasted overly sweet. We asked the server to please reheat it, which she did, however, it was not the same recipe or product they were using over a year ago and, if it is, this slop was awful. We left the drinks and most of the dip, tipped the server well (not her fault), and left. I’m hoping this was a one-off for this place because I’ve always had great food and drinks at this place. This time was the bottom of the barrel, so I will probably not return for a very long time, if at all.
Sorry to reprt but the place is very dirty and the food was not very good. The chile relleno looks to be a flour torilla stuffed with cheese and covered with cheese, but there was no chile! Ewww. The people, though, were very freindly.

Really enjoy this subtle gem. The quality of the food bats well above the tex/mex decor. The chicken Chimichanga is delicious and the house made chips and salsa are a consistent delight. Always a hard decision to finish off the meal with either fried ice cream, fried Oreao's or the yummy churrasco's. Nothing fancy here, just casually right.
Everyone was super nice but I was disappointed; definitely not authentic. I ordered the $10 nachos and the corn on it was cold and obviously canned. The queso tasted like it was also out of a jar/cheap. Overpriced cheap food - will not return.
Had dinner at this restaurant for the 1 time last week, a couple of my friends was telling about and may I say they live up to the hype. The employees was very friendly and professional and the food and drink was on point. I plan on going back the next I’m in Boca, I was refer this restaurant to anybody looking for some great authentic Mexican food!
Great service! Food was amazing loved the nachos couldn’t stop eating them!?
I had a wonderful time and experience. Food was great, highly recommend!
