Kudos to the staff at Benihana Boca Raton. Our entire experience should be documented in how to execute customer service at the highest level and how to treat customers. We arrived for our 9:45PM reservation at 9:50PM. We understood we were late and were prepared to be turned away as the restaurant closed at 10PM. Our server Juan was EXCELLENT and we really enjoyed our Chef Gabe! He was very friendly and professional. He did an AWESOME job preparing our food. We had many dietary restrictions and he made sure to communicate frequently to ensure that everyone was served correctly. We will come back and ask for Juan and Gabe! AWESOME job guys! When we got to the restaurant, we were not greeted by the miserable hostesses. Even with a reservation, we ended up waiting a half hour for a table even though they sent out the automated text that the table was ready. When asked why we had this text if it wasn't ready, the staff were snooty with me.
