Cake Stand Desserts has the most wonderful people that are as sweet as what they provide. Jason ( pastry chef) Becky (shop manager) and Dawn (assistant) are very welcoming and helpful with any order you’ll need. I called around to several places that were “to busy” due to this time of year until I found them. Cake Stand Desserts is a gem you almost don’t want to share as they are the small shop that just does it perfectly. The cake parade (don’t know how else to describe how when the cake was brought out at the venue) had so many people “oooh” and “aaah” with “wow” and a few “omg” as it went past patrons to get to us. But the so called “icing on the cake” was when you had a taste. You know there are always the “I just want the tiniest sliver” people. Well they came back for seconds and thirds. The flavors were deliciously divine. Stamp your foot and raise your hands in a dance of cake-liciousness. Please visit them online and most especially in their quaint bakery. I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough.

I made a last minute order for my daughter’s princess birthday party and they made the cutest cookie decorations. I requested cookies with her name and her age and they came out beautiful. I walked in to customers that were regulars. Very enthusiastic. But the bakery didn’t smell like a bakery. It was a weird smell that must not be real. I bought a few items to satisfy my family. The buttercream- it was supposed to be strawberry- it didn’t taste that way at all. No flavor at all. I want to support local. Please give me more of a reason.

The atmosphere is so relaxing! Everyone is so friendly. The Bakery is Very clean and always stocked with the most mouth watering desserts & Jason makes The most amazing cakes! Never disappointed!! I feel sad to write this. I had such high hopes for this establishment. The cake on the outside looked beautiful, stunning, and trendy. The chocolate mousse on the inside is absolutely delicious, as is the chocolate drizzle. It was my mother’s 80th birthday. We couldn’t wait to celebrate and eat this.
When we dug in… the sponge cake inside was pretty tasty and just a little too dry. But the buttercream was a huge disappointment. Huge disappointment and difference compared to how delicious the chocolate mousse is. The buttercream (which was supposed to be vanilla) had zero flavor. None. It tastes like straight up butter with no cut of sweetness or vanilla.
Because we ordered a lot of buttercream (mom’s favorite along with mousse) it made the cake inedible that we gagged. The only part that was manageable to eat was the chocolate mousse, some of the sponge cake, and the chocolate little candies writing. We couldn’t eat any of the rest (basically the entire cake) and thinking about it makes me want to throw up.
Jason seems super talented. Have no idea what happened with the buttercream, if he forgot ingredients or sugar, but it was pure butter- good quality butter but zero other flavor making it inedible. It was a lot of money… I was expecting it to all be delicious. Now we have a lot of cake leftover and it’s pretty sad since it was so pretty.
I do not recommend the buttercream and cake should have a sugar water put in it to keep it moist.

I ordered a cake and 2 dozen cupcakes for my husband's birthday. Not only were they absolutely delicious, but they were gorgeous, too. My husband said the German Chocolate Cake was PHENOMENAL. And I can attest that the lemon and chocolate cupcakes were amazing, too. Plus, Jason is the nicest and was very helpful when deciding what to order. Needless to say, everyone at the party was asking about Cake Stand Desserts - and I give them my highest recommendation. (We also tried three of the tarts when we visited-key lime, chocolate espresso and fruit-and they were heavenly).

My wife brought home a carrot cake and a chocolate mousse cake for a party we had at the house. Both were AMAZING! So absolutely perfect. Moist, delicious, not too sweet, but very rich and decadent.
We previously had a Black Forest cake from cake stand and it was outstanding!
If you want a delicious cake, and you don’t get it from Cake Stand, it will be the biggest mistake of your life. And you’ll regret it for many decades….and that regret may lead you to move to Nepal and become a celibate monk.

Best cake ever. My favorite is strawberry with chantilly. Super light, super fresh and the right amount of sweetness. Most bakeries around here make their cake with cheap ingredients and loaded in sugar. This is the only place where I get my sweets.

Not only has EVERY SINGLE CAKE I have ordered from cake stand was simply delicious, the people there are incredibly nice. I went to pick up a preordered cake today and asked about freezing it as our event day had changed to the following week. Although I could freeze it and the cake would still be perfect, they OFFERED a brand new cake for next week so it would be abundantly fresh.... that's integrity..... BEST CAKES IN SOURH FLORIDA FOR CERTAIN!!!
