We went for Taco Tuesday and couldn't believe the value—$3 tacos that were absolutely delicious. Our server, Dishawn, was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and kept the tacos coming without missing a beat. Great vibes, great food, and great service! We'll definitely be back.

We had an amazing experience at Calaveras Cantina in Boca Raton! From the moment we walked in, the vibrant decor and lively energy set the tone for a fun night out. The food exceeded our expectations — every dish was packed with flavor, beautifully plated, and served hot and fresh. We especially loved the tacos and guacamole — so tasty and authentic! The live music was such a nice surprise and really elevated the whole atmosphere. It created the perfect vibe for a relaxed but festive evening. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure everything was just right from start to finish. If you're looking for great food, fun vibes, and a place that knows how to mix good flavors with great music, Calaveras Cantina is a must-visit. We can't wait to come back!

We'vebeen coming there for the last two years at last three visits the food quality has gone down. We always order the Steak and Shrimp Faijatas and the steak is very chewy and the shrimp I don't think we're even real shrimp, the peppers are are barley cooked and too crunchy.

We had a great experience before a concert. Fabulous service! Great food! Make sure to get the guacamole.

We started with the street corn appetizer, recommended by our server. It was unbelievably good. Caesar salad with grilled chicken was delicious. We also had the tacos and the brisket, very tasty. The service was excellent, but slow. Maybe the kitchen was busy? Our waitress was helpful and attentive.

We love the restaurant and go on a regular basis. Last night was an off night. We waited 45 min for 2 tacos and fajitas. When they came out it was cold. Kitchen was really off. Hope they correct it soon

they no longer have the velvet cake and that's a deal breaker update : manager offered a complimentary desert. I called 5 times and was put on hold for 30mns each time, manager refused to take the call

Quick to check in. Ambience was great and the server was attentive. Loved the wet burrito with carne asada

We've been coming to this restaurant monthly for a while now, and it's usually solid. That's why last night was such a letdown. The service was still great; our server was friendly, attentive and did everything right. But the food and drinks just weren't it. Our drinks tasted like watered-down versions of what they were supposed to be, just liquid with a hint of flavor. Something was definitely up with the ice machine too, because both times we got drinks with maybe four tiny cubes that melted immediately. I ordered the steak fajitas, which are usually a go-to, but this time, the steak was overcooked and oddly heavy on oregano. Not in a good way. The strange part is, the restaurant wasn't even busy—maybe half full at most—so there really wasn't any excuse for the drop in quality. We honestly don't know what happened. This place is normally a favorite, but last night was way off. Hopefully just a fluke.

Excellent as always. Took some friends who have never been and they loved it as well. One of my favorites!

Great food and service. Wonderful tableside guacamole salsas. Tacos De Brirria were unique made with tender and tasty lamb vs. beef or pork. The consommé for dipping had an amazing taste.

I was pleasantly surprised! The food and drinks were delicious. I loved the presentation. Our server Rylie was terrific. It was comfortable sitting outside on the covered patio however the music was pretty loud. It did not disturb our evening though!

Overall a terrific experience for a fairly typical Mexican menu. Definitely start with the Guacamole prepared tableside. The food is well prepared, and the service excellent. The restaurant has an 18% service charge, but 100% goes to staff, and they guarantee a minimum of $20 per hour and benefits for full time employees (a note on each table explains this). The drink menu is great, though we did not try it out. There is seating inside and out. Note that the music can get somewhat loud, but was fine for us. If you're in the mood for Mexican, this Mizner Park restaurant fits the bill.

We had a 9:15 reservation and were told the DJ would begin in about 15 minutes. The noise level would be more than loud- to the point that holding a conversation was just about impossible. The hostess found a as quiet a table as possible away from the DJ and that was very much appreciated. The food was good and service excellent. The recommended short rib quesadilla was filled with very tasty meat and was generously sized. The table side quacamole was nice.
