I ordered delivery through Uber Eats.
This is billed as Cuban food but it tastes more like poor S. American food.
I had a whole baked chicken. How do you dry out chicken thigh and leg? The skin was soft and rubbery. It was smothered in onions with some kind of vinegar/garlic. The smell is overpowering and the food has no real flavor of its own. I also added yellow rice. Again, almost flavorless with nothing in it.
My wife had 3 empanadas and croquettes. The beef empanadas had a sweet flavor to them. Not a Caribbean taste. The croquettes were mushy.
Another person had the media noche and took one bite and didn't want it.
I'm of Caribbean hispanic descent and this is not it. If you need to fill a hole in your gut, maybe. Not really enjoyable. For the price, there are better options.

Leaves much to be desired. Sports bar, very loud. Patrons are nice, the only redeeming factor. Menu online is deceiving, they don't have must of the items. Prices are much higher than posted online, which is false advertising. I am sure DA would like to hear about this.

Hard to find as its inside another restaurant location with no signs. Got there at 11am on a saturday and the chef was not there yet. I left.
I was born and raised in South Florida. Lived there up until I moved to Pittsburgh. I have had cuban food all across south Florida and in Miami many times. I would visit the Caribbean grill (at their old location). I went yesterday to their old location and was shocked they moved. Since I was at the new restaurant that picked up their old spot, I tried it (la cubanita). It is tourist cuban food. People that don't eat it commonly would think it's decent. It holds nothing to the original Caribbean grill. I went today to whistle stop where Caribbean grill cooks and chefoved to. Perfect. ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. It's the kind of food where u walk in speaking English and walk out speaking Spanish drinking a cortadito. This cuban food is just as good, if not, BETTER than any cuban food you can find in Miami. I say this with tons of cuban food under my belt. There is nothing like the Caribbean grill. If you value your money, taste buds, your life. Please go and have croquetas, empanadas, un Cubano. And enjoy abuela's cuban food as if you were in Havana.
Gracias por la comida Caribbean Grill!

I didn't get a chance to taste the food or experience the service because once I entered the premises and realized that it was a loud beer hall with many cigarette smokers puffing away, I realize they couldn't possibly eat in that environment. There's a sign out front that says there's a restaurant inside but otherwise you'd never know. It's really a bar that's turned over their kitchen to somebody who cooks Cuban food apparently, but I wouldn't be able to enjoy food in a smoke-filled room.

Manager or owner didn't seem interested I was even a customer. I ordered and was the only order inside but still took 10 minutes for a chicken wrap w/ no changes. Likely not going back or recommending. Food was above average but service was poor.

It’s no longer Caribbean Grill. It’s a new restaurant that took over and the food is awful. Service is excellent but beans are straight out of a can, rice was sour and Churasco steak was tough, thin and tasteless. It’s not worth the price they charge for it. I won’t go
