Carmela Coffee - Uptown Boca

Pretty good coffee ☕️ served in a friendly atmosphere. They have plenty of good pastries to choose from and different coffee beverages that all look worth trying. Service was good, beverages came out quickly, and they have inside and outside seating options. During the weekend it can get a bit busy, but I still found them pretty quick. Shoutout to the matcha latte.

Hmm, where do I start? I’ve been coming to Carmela’s for the last year or so & I always had a GREAT experience, great customer service, as well as great food, not to mention I’ve recommended Carmela’s to many family & friends. But today, unfortunately it was the complete opposite. Wishing I got the girls name that took my order because she doesn’t need to be in the front of house if she cannot treat customers the equally. She was rude, ignored my presence for 5 minutes, while she gave other customers her attention immediately after helping one after the other, I asked her for help on how to update my phone number & her response was “I don’t know, I think you do it through the app, we have nothing to do with that”, she provided no further information & her tone of voice was very unwelcoming. I noticed that she called everyone’s name when their order was ready but when my order was ready she said nothing & when I said “thank you”, she gave no response. On top of the horrible customer service experience, the Prosciutto Swiss croissant was not fresh, the croissant was stale & tasted old. Overall 2/10. I hope for a better experience next time, if I ever decide to come back. Just a word of advice for management, the people that are the front of house represent the Coffee shop as a whole & if the individual isn’t going to treat everyone equally, they need to be in the back making sandwiches 😊 This experience felt quite prejudicial.

The best brunch place! Whenever I'm in this area I always stop by here. Food is amazing with a lot of variety and the drinks are even better. I highly recommend the basil mayo chicken sandwich and the chai tea! Ambiance is great whether you are stopping by for a brunch date or studying at a coffee shop.

Loved this charming coffee shop! I was in the area to be DJ in Boca Raton at nearby Mission Bay, and glad I stopped in to have coffee after I had dinner at Lazy Dog across the street. Really enjoyed the layout, fun, hip thought provoking mural, service, and beverage & snack selections (although I only had coffee). Definitely recommend you visit!

TERRIBLE!!! After few good minutes trying to find a parking spot, found one, took my elderly mother out ..:walk to the door, open and was told that he had already turn the coffee machines DOWN 16 minutes to close!!!!!!!!l if u can’t service til ur supposed 9pm time then charge ur service HOURS!!!!! So annoyed 😒 very disrespectful 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Coming here was a pleasant experience earlier today! Omar’s service was absolutely amazing! He walked me through everything with a smile and so much patience, making the whole experience feel welcoming and easy. I’ll definitely be coming back—not only for the great service but also for the delicious dishes. Highly recommend!
