We were thrilled to find this dairy restaurant We had really good food and were treated really well We ordered the fries charcuterie plate It came with 3 types of fries : curly, regular, sweet potato, they were all so delicious and crispy and came with really good dips. And we got 2 different types of pizza - both so good. And pasta!!

It's a very decent place! We went to try their truffle pizza, and we left it. We also tried some sushi which was not as good. The rice was mushy, I think it was overcooked or left to sit too long. They do not have a liquor license but we're very prompt with refilling the waters. There is ample parking right outside and a cute area to walk around in with a fountain. My friend loved that it was European in the sense that they left you alone unless you asked them for something. There are two bathrooms that I saw, each was single person occupancy . Door was very squeaky and heavy and tricky to get locked but it was good We had a nice time.

If you're in the area and are looking for a cozy place for a drink or snack, I recommend stopping here.
The servers were friendly. And my drink was made very quickly. I'd definitely stop back in here again.

Fantastic kosher diary restaurant. The French Fry charcuterie was such a treat! There is a large selection of different pastas, pizza, and fish as well as a sushi menu.

Took out 2 pizzas. My daughter bit into a hair. Called the restaurant and they were inhospitable towards our reporting of hair in our pizza. Made us come back and show them and only refunded one pie. No one wanted to experiment with the other. The manager said he understood but will only refund one. Even if there was no hair this restaurant should be ashamed of the quality and presentation of thier food.

I’ve always placed a pickup order over the phone, but one day, the manager unexpectedly informed me that they no longer accept phone orders. I was taken aback, as I’ve been doing this for quite some time. He explained that he had started working at the restaurant and that this change was started when he started. However, when I asked the waitress at the store when this “new rule was implemented,”she fumbled and couldn’t provide a clear answer before walking away.
The manager insisted that I place an order online, but I explained that I couldn’t do so at the time because I was doing carpool. I questioned whether they honestly expect elderly people to sign online to place an order, as that would exclude a significant portion of their customer base. I reiterated my preference for placing my order over the phone, citing my son’s dairy allergies and the fact that special notes often get overlooked online.
The situation escalated, and I started to feel frustrated, and it came to a point where the manager was so rude I actually started to cry. I still place calls and place orders over the phone. The manager is a liar, and he knows he was caught lying. What terrible customer service.

Decided to try this place regardless of the bad reviews I’d heard and went with my grandfather only for them to place his food 30 minutes before bringing my food which was beyond awkward aside from terrible etiquette on their part. By the time the food arrived we had to leave to which I asked for them to pack the pasta to go. Only for them to forget to put in cutlery as well as putting oily drenched pasta in broken container which leaked all over my car. Pasta was below average and for more staff then customers y’all need to step up on the service and quality

Not having many things on the menu Saturday night was a problem for my non-religious family. So they asked if we wanted to go to their restaurant after we ordered with a child in mind. In short, they left and we stayed. PLEASE STOCK UP. Pizza was great.

Carmela's is a wonderful spot for a family outing, a fun gathering with friends, or even a cozy date. The food is delightful! Onion soup is delicious! I do have one small suggestion for the restaurant: it would be lovely if they could offer bread at the start of the meal upon request, without needing to remind them or wait until after the main course is served. Aside from that minor note, I wholeheartedly recommend Carmela's—it’s a great experience!
