Not having many things on the menu Saturday night was a problem for my non-religious family. So they asked if we wanted to go to their restaurant after we ordered with a child in mind. In short, they left and we stayed. PLEASE STOCK UP. Pizza was great.

Carmela's is a wonderful spot for a family outing, a fun gathering with friends, or even a cozy date. The food is delightful! Onion soup is delicious! I do have one small suggestion for the restaurant: it would be lovely if they could offer bread at the start of the meal upon request, without needing to remind them or wait until after the main course is served. Aside from that minor note, I wholeheartedly recommend Carmela's—it’s a great experience!

Carmela's in Boca Raton on Camino Real was a HUGE disappointment! I recently sent my teenage daughters and their religious cousins from NY for a Girls' Night dinner. Food was inedible, service was nonexistent and the worst of it--a staff member harassed them by aggressively barking at them (yes, like a dog) outside of the restaurant as they were leaving. II immediately called to report the experience and was told to call back to speak with Jay the manager. I called back the next day to explain the situation and he promised a call back. That never happened so I called back at 5pm. All I heard was excuses, no apologies, no refunds, and flat out denial of any wrong doing. I also requested a call back from the owner. Think I got one? Nope! I am disgusted and give it a ZERO out of ten! Don't bother with it! Awful! Disgusting and a waste of real estate in Boca. Shame on you, Carmela's!

I have been here multiple times and continue to be unimpressed by both the service and food. Multiple people in my party were unhappy with their orders and we had to call a waiter over to take our order initially. Would not recommend. Do not order the Tex Mex salad.

It’s disappointing to dine in with my boyfriend, receive careless waiting from the server “brother” Floud & see on the bill that an 18% gratuity was added. When I brought it up to the waiter, he lied to my face that the Toast automatically includes it. When I brought it up to the manager, I received a smirked with his answer. My boyfriend who was the one who got profiled didn’t even want me to bring it up to the manager & so I ended it there but receiving that type of energy in 2024 is disrespectful.

Went to Carmela’s yesterday. Good was good but everything is fried in the same oil. Therefore my friend couldn’t have the fries or the appetizer because she has a fish allergy. That was disappointing and frankly gross. Atmosphere is nice, but every table around you is complaining about the service. We had to clean the chair and high chair ourselves which was annoying. As for the service….. the absolute worst service you could get. The hostess had a mean mug to begin with, and we knew it was going to be like that for the rest of the service would be trash. Nobody came to our table to take our order for 29 minutes. They’re probably very short staffed. Nobody brought the high chair so we fetched it ourselves. Nobody offered a refill on drinks or water at all, until we asked, towards the end of the meal. When it came to the bill, the waiter put 80% of the tables items on my bill, he wasn’t clear, it was confusing. For the trrribke service, there’s already a 20% service fee added. Take note that the fish sandwich on the lunch special is 1$ more than the regular menu. Nothing makes sense. When I asked about it, the answer was “that’s the owner”. We won’t be back

Frankly, it's blase.... One bready, baked bagel. It's not even a real boiled bagel..... And no choices.... One DULL plain bagel.... Garlic bagels.... Nope.... Everything? Rye? Sesame...? Pumpernickel...? Nope.
A toaster to make anything crispy or crunchy.... No.
They're packed because they're the only option in the area, so the people running it have no need to serve anything beyond mediocre....
Very sad..... I was visiting from the Hollywood area.....
When I asked the local people I was staying with if they go regularly, they all made a face like.... Nah....
Deserts were all out of some box.... Nothing imaginative, visually appealing, nor worth eating.... Same barely passable standards.....

Had the French onion soup. The soup base tasted like water, even adding salt didn’t help. Must have been days old and all the onion flavor cooked off. My friend had the poke bowl and said it was good. I had the spaghetti squash and that was fair.
